I'm absolutely in love with this necklace. With mother's day coming up it would also make a perfect gift for the mother in your life. I'm not a gem expert, but with an untrained eye I wouldn't be able to tell that the jewels in this aren't real. They're lovely looking, with a real depth of color and a wonderful sparkle and shine when the light hits them.

What really makes this necklace stand out though, is the clever design. Instead of lying flat, the heart is raised so that it curves at different heights and really brings the necklace to life. The metal on the heart itself and on the chain is sterling silver, which is a great for this price point.

It came with no flaws or mistakes and looks absolutely perfect. It also comes in a nice black gift box (very important if you plan to gift this to someone) that is classy looking and not cheap or ugly like some I've seen. The chain is beautiful, while being nice and sturdy, I prefer this to some of the more delicate looking chains which snap quite easily.

It's also surprisingly easy to fasten, I was able to do it myself, so the catch isn't too stiff or irritating to work. My only negative is that the chain is 18" long, so if you're plus size, you might find it's a very short necklace, but it will still fit. I am on the larger plus size scale and this was a short necklace on me, but not quite a choker, so if you're smaller than a 4X, it shouldn't be a problem!

Protip: Make sure to measure your neck to get a realistic idea of where it will sit.

Personally, I prefer the amethyst cubic zirconia (purple) as it's my birthstone and the purple also offsets the design perfectly, in my opinion. I really adore how sparkly it is.
