There’s a couple things I want to tell you up front before I get into this review. Juice Beauty sent me all three shades of these Flash Luminizers for free so I could write about them for my readers and I so appreciate working with this awesome company. They are so generous. I don’t use cream beauty products enough on an everyday basis to use them all up before they expire so I don’t recommend them to most people unless you will use these up within their shelf life.

Let’s talk about the packaging first. I like the shiny silver, reflective finish. These are duos and the tube would be easy to travel with. If you had more than one duo you could switch the shades around to make any combo you wanted. Push one end to release the shade on the opposite end. Simple click the stick back into the barrel when finished.

The Golden/Bronzer can be used for contouring, scupting and highlighting for a sun kissed look all year long. For my fair skin tone the bronzer is the right shade to warm up and contour my face. Once you get to medium-deep and deep skin colours, this won’t be dark enough for you. The only shades I can use as highlighters are the Golden and the Cream. Everything else is a blush on my skin. Someone with light or medium skin could probably also use 05 Blush as a highlighter. I think if you have deep skin tones everything will be a highlighter or blush topper. The colours are not from artificial dyes, but from plant derived Phyto-Pigments.

All the shades blend well using either a dampened beauty sponge or a stipple brush. I’ve been using these every time I’ve done my makeup for the past month. Once I’ve set all my cream and liquid products with pressed powder I then use powder products to enhance bronzer, highlighter and blush. You could use these luminizers on their own without setting powder for a natural, no makeup makeup look. They do have a nice sheen to them. Not shiny or sparkly, but a healthy glow that would benefit anyone.
