I received this product in a monthly Julep Maven box, and thus it was a great price. It does a really great job of taking off my daily makeup and is not harsh on the skin. This is the first time I have tried an oil based product for makeup removal, and now that I've finished half the bottle, I think I'm going to stick with it. It's not as convenient as a makeup wipe and I still have to use my usual cleaner after to remove all the residue. However it hasn't broken me out, and makes my skin feel hydrated and soft.

This facial cleansing oil is hands down amazing. It breaks down ALL types of makeup effortlessly, doesn't break me out, has a nice mild citrus scent, and doesn't leave my skin feeling oily. I use it to remove my makeup then cleanse my skin or exfoliate and my skin is as happy as can be. I absolutely love the packaging too!

Made me break out badly after using. Followed directions and the next day I was infested with pimples which I rarely get. Was not impressed

It was the first oil cleanser I have tried and it left my face oily and sticky. I ended up having to use a different product after as I was sensitive to the oil and broke out.

The Bare Face Cleansing Oil totally sold me on incorporating oils into my beauty routine. Make sure your skin and hands are completely dry when using it for best results! Massage it in all over your face (you can even rub it on your eyelids to take off makeup) and then rinse off with warm water. I usually put it on while my shower is warming up before I hop in.

When I was a subscriber to the Julep/Maven box in one I purchased Juleps bare face cleansing oil at a reduced price~it's nice they offer the buyer savings with money spent. I wa quite intruiged to try this as I'd only heard of the oil you put on your dry face and it cleansed it and I must say it works really well~removes dirt makeup the day without leaving any greasy feel and is virtually scent less which I like as I find sometimes oil anything goes a bit rancid smelling. You don't require hardly any a little goes a long way so while it is a bit pricey unless bought as an add on it is worth it! I'd for sure add it on if I were yet in the monthly subscription. I encourage you to try it as well!

I really, really wanted to love this product, I heard great things about it. But my skin hated it, after 3 days of using it twice a day, my skin was completely broken out. I thought it was just me, so I gave it to my 17 yr old daughter to try, and her skin broke out too :/

Fabulous product! I have been a Julep Maven for almost two years now and this is by far my favourite product. This cleansing face oil is so powerful, while being gentle on your face. You do not even need a separate make up remover. You simple pump 2-3 squirts in your dry hands and apply to your dry face, then you watch as your make up dissolves off your face! It's pretty neat. It leaves your face cleansed yet hydrated. Perfect for my combination skin. The price is a bit steep, however if you watch for sales then it is not too bad.

I got this oil as apart of their Maven Program and can I tell you what a surprise. I have had "pimples" on the cheeks of my face for about 6 months no matter what I tried I couldn't get anything to work. Enter Julep Bare Face. I tried it every night and I used every other day and oh my goodness. Amazing. The pimples on my face are almost gone and my skin feels great, there is no oily residue on my face and as a matter of fact you can feel it work. I have to say I am a huge fan of this product. Definitely recommend people to go buy it. i even have my teenage son using it. It is totally worth the money.

This product didn't work for me but I have oily skin so I have to be very careful what I use. The ad says it works for oily skin though, but perhaps just not mine. The smell and the texture of the product was good though. Wish I could use it!
