At first I was really excited because the colors were really pretty! So I figure it would look really nice. The colors that they sent couldn't really be put together.. I tried the purple and gold one on and it was so hard to get it to stick to my nail. It came as a big clump and wouldn't stick. After putting it all over, it looked horrible. I didn't really like the texture behind it and the way it was made. The colours were okay. Bottom line, I can get better nail polish at an other store that will work better, look better and at a cheaper price.

I'm not crazy about this nail polish. The colors are extraordinary however it dries slowly and gets pasty and sticky with just a few coats. I'd use it over other brands but overall it's not horrible. I get mine with the Julep subscription. It's okay, I will probably continue using it.

Julep nail polish is my new favourite! Started subscribing to their monthly Maven box in February and could not be happier. Love their massive variety of colours and that there is something new to look forward to every month. The quality is definitely high end, I find myself having to fix up my nails less often than before, which is amazing.

Julep polishes are great quality but they are a bit pricey. However, I'd rather get something pricier than to keep fixing my nails every day.

I tried Julep for a few months. I do like the idea of getting a subscription box in the mail every month (this is why I subscribe to other boxes!) but I was just not impressed with this one. You pay $20 a month for 3 tiny nail polishes which, in my opinion, are not that high quality. They are just like any other polish out there. I quit getting the box after 2 or 3 months because I just couldn't validate spending $20 on 3 polishes every month. I would recommend getting the first box free! Use the code FREEBOX and only pay like 3 dollars in shipping :)

I will never wear another brand of nail polish again. I received their brand in a monthly beauty box and have been addicted to it ever since! Goes on thick and smooth. No topcoat needed! Also it takes a while before it starts chipping. Best nail polish! Never going back to OPI.

I have loved every colour I have received from Julep. The colours pop, work with my skin tone and my friends, when I feel like sharing. And oh the textures, stardust, silk, not to mention the regular stuff. I love that each colour is made with green coffee extract to work as antioxidant for my nails at that they are formulated to let your nails breathe so you get your colour without the damage. I also love the colour choices, from light, muted or neutral, to wow, bold and eye grabbing. The expanding of the colours , the themes and the fact their moving into beauty products is even more exciting for us mavens who LOVE EVERYTHING

I'm honestly not really impressed with Julep. At first I was really excited about the whole monthly new polish thing... but honestly $14.00 for a bottle of polish that are 0.27 oz just doesn't seem like I personally am getting my monies worth. I like to spend my money on something that will be worth it and I can't seem to wrap my head around that. For me, their polish is very streaky as well and their formula isn't very consistent. One polish will be absolutely PERFECT and then the next is think and gloppy... I feel like you can get better quality nail polish from other companies for a cheaper price tag!

Julep Nail Polish, in one word, is: Fun!

Though there is better quality nail polish on the market, the appeal of Julep is the dynamic range of colors and polish types, from dark purple creme to glittery gold to matte neon orange, you are sure to find a range of styles for every day of the week.

Some polishes do arrive thicker than others, making application difficult, and some don't do well with more than 1 coat. However, I haven't been disappointed with any of the dozens I've tried out, and appreciate the variety I have. I highly recommend the monthly box, as you end up getting many polish options and a decent price (with free shipping), as well as maven benefits such as the secret store and a discount.
