Great movie. I watched this once with my boyfriend, and again with my parents (and several times alone after that :P).
This is definitely a better-have-cupcakes-by-your-side movie, and it's sooo sweet!
Meryl Streep (as always) did not disappoint! She was so goofy, and motherly, I fell in love all over again.
My mom, who doesn't care for hollywood movies, loved it, and laughed throughout the whole film. It's a great go-to for watching with the ladies in your family.

I watched this film with my parents and my boyfriend. To my surprise, my parents fell asleep half-way through while my boyfriend and I watched this great film! I agree with Ali, make sure you have some snacks on hand, because you will want to eat...a lot! Meryl Streep is at her best in her portrayal of the legendary Julia Child.

I think this is the perfect movie for a girls night in, or pot luck! I thought it was really well done, though a bit long. Overall, I would totally recommend this film based on the incredible performances by all cast members, the endearing story line and the fantastic cooking!

I loved this movie. Meryl Streep is so cute, so funny you just want to hug her. I've never seen Julia Child in action before but watching this made me want to go look back on old footage.

Based on two true stories and a book inspired by a blog, Julie & Julia follows a government worker's self-imposed challenge to cook her way through Julia Child's famous French cook book: Mastering the Art of French Cooking.

The stories of Julie Powel and Julia Child run in parallel as she goes through 536 recipes. It's sweet, endearing and fun. I recommend you have some snacks on hand while you watch.
