Fried hair

I bought this iron thinking that it would be a great tool for travelling given that it's a 3 in 1. It's the worst hairstyling tool ever! It fried my hair! It was so damage that I had to go get a haircut.
It stated that the iron should curl, wave and smooth, but it didn't do that at all. The plates were supposed to be ceramic, but It's not, the coating was flaking on the side.
I ended up returning it.
