One of the best cleansers I've tried

Haven't had any reaction, which is rare for me, I usually break out after I try a new cleanser. The smell is really good too, neutral. Also, it helps with my acne and exfoliates mildly.

The only cleanser I will use. Whenever I try anything else, it doesn't work for my skin. I have cystic acne and this has been a godsend. Highly, highly recommend!

Well worth the cost! My skin feels fresh and looks clear. I have noticed a decline in blackheads and pores since using this product. I highly recommend, its worth the cost!

The best

I have struggled with mild acne for so many years now and have tried many different things. Proactiv, Cetaphil, Differin gel any other face wash in the drug store you can think of. I was using Epiduo Forte which would only help sometimes but really burn my face and leave it extremely dry. I started breaking out really badly one day and decided to do some research to find something new and came across Kate Somerville and read people's reviews and decided to give it a try. After the first night of using it I had already noticed a difference. The face wash is light and smooth and my face feels refreshed after using it instead of dry and itchy. After a couple of nights of using it my face has cleared up so much and I am so relieved that I've finally found something that works. I highly recommend this product. It's worth the money!

Smells horrible

I got a sample from Sephora. The scent is HORRIBLE. Smells like nairs hair removal cream. The scent doesn't go away even after rinsing and using my skincare products. The texture is a whipped goop. Drew out a few impurities, saw no change in pores. First day of use skin was dry and tight, day two and onwards skin was normal.

Results and pretty pink!

I have struggled with breakouts for as long as I can remember. This cleanser seems to keep my breakouts at bay. I was a bit worried it would smell like sulphur as the brand markets their use. The smell was not overpowering to me at all and actually pleasant to me. Yes it still smells like a cleanser but I prefer that overly fruity or a heavy chemical smell. My skin feels clean and soft after using it. It does tend to dry out my skin a bit but I always follow up qith Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream anyways so it doesn't feel dry for long! My breakouts are few and far between and usually only when I am too tired to wash my face. Great cleanser all around. The lovely pink shade of it is a fun bonus as well.

I would say this cleanser is great for acne prone skin. You may want to follow up with a moisturizer depending on your skin type.

Who knew you could have a holy grail cleanser???

Such a nice cream cleanser with low levels of AHA and fruit enzymes that allow for a gentle chemical exfoliation (Don't let the word chemical fool you, it just helps to remove dead skin cells, you don't feel anything nor are there any gritty scrubby bits!). I found it can sting the eyes quite a bit if it gets in them, but I just make sure to keep my eyes closed extra tight. Has a strong citrus smell, which I personally enjoy. Also the ph is below 5, might even be below 4, I just remember it being very low which is great!! My skin never feels stripped.

Overpriced face wash

I got a deluxe sample of this and used it. It took off my makeup and exfoliated my skin. It did what it was supposed to do, but I didn't see anything miraculous happen. For the price of this product, I would expect something more than what a product from the drug store can do.

Just can't handle the harsh grit

I was surprised to find this product a little harsh on my skin, as I don't usually react to many exfoliators, and I can use many other Kate Somerville products. Received as a sample and probably would not buy again, but mainly because there are other exfoliators that I would turn to first.

Amazing

This is the best cleanser I've ever tried! Not only does it make your skin look and feel good, it's also gentle, and smells amazing. I LOVE that it has pumpkin, papaya, and pineapple enzymes.
