Not a fan
I received this product for free as a Sephora sample. I found it way too harsh for my sensitive skin. It gave me a rash and caused dry skin all over my face. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with even remotely sensitive skin.
Not great friends of my skin
This is a super expensive facial peel. I received it in my
fabfitfun box. I read great reviews about it, however, it
did literally burn my face! I have never had any issue with
any other cream peel or product. But this seems not be
a good friend of my skin. That being said, like its ment-y
christmassy smell and green colour!
Kate Somerville Exfolikate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment
I do like this product but I don't think if I hadn't got this in my fabfitfun box that I would pay the price for it. I like that it exfoliates my skin but I do find it kind of burns my skin initially but that quickly subsides.
Nice enough
This has tiny tiny exfoliating sutff in it that feels so smooth on my face! It has a green tea minty kinda smell! It tastes super weird!!! Accidentally got it in my mouth! Lol worked really well for my face
Slimy and Smelly
I received a free sample of ExfoliKate Intensive in the mail that was easy to apply and remove. Despite the name, I found the exfoliation gentle but slimy when rubbing it into my cheeks and it smelled like sweet pickles with various spices added, which was quite unpleasant. I found that after about a minute and a half my skin was left soft but not dried out, especially when applied in a steamy shower. My main concerns were the pungent smell and the slimy feeling left on my skin, I most likely would not purchase this product if given the chance.
Not as gentle as it claims!
I got this from Sephora as part of a sample set, and while some of the other products worked just fine, I can't get behind this. I've shied away from physical exfoliators for a reason, but since this was a sample, I decided to give it a try--and immediately remembered why I don't use these kinds of exfoliators anymore. It really irritated and inflamed whatever blemishes were on my face, and the next day, a few more blemishes developed. If you've got acne prone skin, harsh, physical exfoliants just aren't your friend.
