I really liked this product and I would definitely recommend it. I applied it to my face and despite my skin being really sensitive it didn't react to it. I left it on for a while after scrubbing it in. When I took it off it left my skin feeling smooth and fresh.

A nice treat, but not worth the splurge

I have to preface this review by acknowledging just how exorbitantly expensive this face scrub is. I received a small travel-size version in a Sephora kit a few years ago, and have since received full-sized versions through FabFitFun. I can say with certainty that I will never be paying out of pocket for this exfoliator, but have been enjoying the luxury of such a premium treat for my skin. I know a lot of people are not fans of the scent, but that's honestly one of the selling features for me of any product - the best way to describe this is herbal and medicinal, both scents of which are strangely right up my alley. I also love the unusual green colour! Superficial aspects aside, the exfoliating effects of this are great (not too harsh on my skin, and not too soft), but I can see how some with more sensitive skin may find this irritating. I feel that it gets into my pores and does a great job, leaving my skin with a bit of a glow after use. I tend to follow the instructions that recommend leaving it on for a few minutes, and then use my Foreo to remove, though I don't know how much of a difference the latter makes. It's a very pleasant scrub and seems to have some impact on my face, but I could never justify the pricetag!

KATE Somerville Exfoliate for sensitive skin. I love this Exfoliate. You have to be careful it can really scrape up your face if your too harsh. I add a lot of water. I gently massage into my fave for about 2-3 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Pat dry. My skin is so soft. Make sure you use a moisturizer afterwards. Don’t use more than once a week. It can be drying to your skin. Just wish it wasn’t so expensive.

I absolutely adore this product and the way it works other than the price. The price scares me. It's gentle on my skin and I always use it in the shower once my pores are opened. Gets rid of any textures I have and makes the skin smooth.

Good exfoliator

I do enjoy this product, I use it once or twice a week to exfoliate my skin and it does work quite well. The downside is mostly the price point, it is quite expensive! The good thing is that you don't need much for each use and it feels very fresh on the face, with a soothing, tingly sensation.

Good everyday exfoliator

Great cleanser that exfoliates and removes heavy makeup without irritating sensitive skin. Just a little product goes a long way. A bit on the expensive side but quality is Ok.

Meilleur exfoliant sur le marché. Le fait qu'il est un exfoliant à la fois chimique et mécanique fait qu'il est extrêmement efficace! Les picotements causés par le produits sont tout a fait normaux à cause des enzyme. Il laisse la peau plus douce que jamais!
Le seul problèm:, le prix exorbitant.
Je n'achète jamais le format régulier, c'est beauxouo trop cher pour moi. Par contre, je l'achète en format voyage, ou lorsqu'il est en coffret.

I received this product as a sample with my Sephora online purchase. The sample provided me with only enough product for one use (although I may have been able to stretch it if I didn't use my usual amount of product to cover my whole face). I was surprised by it's green colour however it was helpful for gauging how much product I was applying to all areas. I was also surprised by its scent. I am usually someone that shies away from scented products due to sensitivities but I found this one to be very enjoyable with an almost gingerbread/pfeffernusse scent. Great for the holidays! When applied it had a nice amount of "grit" to it which seemed to exfoliate my skin well without making it too red. (my skin goes red with pretty much anything). After rinsing my skin felt softer & more refreshed.

I received a sample of this from Sephora. I've never tried a Kate Somerville product before. I stretched out this sample for 3 uses, but I think more product would be needed to get the full effects. It is an intensive exfoliating treatment. It applies nicely. It is not too abbrassive. My skin felt nice and soft afterwards. It is very expensive and I've used similar products for a lot cheaper.

Skin feels great and smooth and bright after use. I notice smaller pores and brighter skin after use. I fell you get the maximum benefits of moisturizer after using.
