In terms of granola bars out there I think there are way better flavours and textures. I've gotten a few boxes for free to try which are awesome and I will always take full advantage of that but I would never spend my own money on these ones.
I was excited to try a new healthy product the first time I noticed these on store shelves. It seems like there is so much junk food out there these days. I thought this product would be different. I compared the nutrition label to a box of chocolate dipped granola bars, and they are almost identical. High in carbs, high in sugar, and not a huge amount of vitamins or minerals. They are high in fibre which is a plus, but just not the healthy option I was hoping for.
I wan't very pleased with this new Nutri-Grain Medley Harvest Bar. It was fake tasting. It was also too many flavors in one bar. It was overwhelming. Also, this bar contains sulphites, modified palm oil, corn syrup, fructose, shortening, and "milk ingredients", what is a milk ingredient? Why not just say milk?
It does fall apart really easily and isn't hard on the teeth. Otherwise, it is horrible.
I do not recommend this. I would stick to just eating almonds, blueberries on their own.
This granola bar is made of healthy ingredients. However, it is loaded with sugar and way too sweet for my taste buds. I probably won't buy this again.
I have mixed feelings about these bars. They are very tasty, but have way too much added sugars. 11 grams of sugar/ 34 gram bar makes it 1/3 sugar. I would only eat these bars if I was out on a hike or doing some other form of vigorous exercise.
