    My kids love these

I have a very picky eater, and I find it difficult to get protein into him without him gagging, but this is one of the few protein bars that he will eat, and sometimes even ask for another! I feel good as a parent packing them in his lunch

    great snack

I tried both flavours and preferred the peanut butter. it is a great snack that is filling and gives you 10 grams of protein. I have one at the bottom of my purse for emergency food. Not too high in calories for a snacking food.

Great chocolate and peanut butter contrast!

I bought these protein bars at sale from my local Loblaws. There are 4 bars in each pack and the regular price is around $4. If you find a sale you might be able to get them for $2.99 which means less than $1 each. These protein bars are a good source of calcium which I was thrilled about since I don't drink a lot of milk. The exterior chocolate coating is smooth and it tastes like a chocolate bar. The chocolate layer is the perfect thickness because it is not too thick that it overpowers the bar but it is not too thin that it gets lost. The inside has a play on a Reese peanut butter flavor, it is rich, creamy and yet has a mild saltiness to it. These are crunchy rice treats inside which add a nice texture. The consistency of the inside of the bar is similar to that of a rice krispy square. It has a nice crunch to it. I love this protein bar! I would recommend anyone who likes chocolate and/or peanut butter to try it.

Winning Rice Krispy Dessert Squares, But Healthy

A pack of four bars can be purchased from Wal Mart for around $4, but they can sometimes be found on sale for $2.99. Each bar is 180 calories and contains 30% calcium, 10% iron, 10 grams of protein, 20% (5 grams) of fibre. These bars are light and delicious. They have a rice crisp cereal inside, making for a light and airy texture. The interior texture is reminiscent of a Rice Krispy square, but with a caramel sauce holding the crispies together, instead of the traditional marshmallows. It tastes like there is peanut butter flavour infused within the rice crisp portion of the bar, and the pieces of chopped peanuts add another depth of nutty flavour to this bar. This bar does not taste like you need to trade in a Rice Krispy dessert for something healthy, as it tastes deliciously like dessert. There is a perfect sweetness without it being too sweet. The creamy milk chocolate coating on top pairs perfectly with the strong peanut flavour on the inside, making for a winning chocolate peanut butter combination.
