I bought these per my doctor's request because due to my gastro problems I need extra protein in my diet. I can't eat specific foods, so I drink 2 of these daily. They are smooth tasting with no chalky aftertaste.

I did not purchase Special K's Protein Breakfast Shakes to lose weight or for the typical dietary reason. I have Crohn's Disease and often I am forced onto a liquid diet, or a diet that is so restricted I miss out on protein and a lot of nutrients. I needed something to get those things into my body, and I hated the taste of other products like Boost and Ensure, and the majority of these are made with mostly oils and chemicals, which puts me off. But Special K's Shakes are actually delicious (and they just released a bunch of new flavours like Cafe Latte and Mocha, mmm!) and they actually have quality ingredients. I wish they were slightly less pricey, but I do find them on sale sometimes, so I stock up then. Excellent if you are lacking any vitamins or protein in your diet.

I purchased a Special K sample pack on line and two shakes were included. Love the chocolate...not so keen on the vanilla. Had coupons in there too so I buy it when it goes on sale. Makes a great 'on the go' meal anytime...not just breakfast!

I love the convenience of this product. I am not a breakfast person and cannot have eat breakfast before I get on my train to go to work. This is handy and if I am hungry I can drink it or I can wait until I get into the office. Chocolate is delicious!

This is my go-to breakfast every weekday. I have an early start to work, a long commute, and an infant to drop off at daycare! This leaves very little time for me in the morning, and the Special K breakfast drinks are the perfect balance for me.

Tastes a bit chalky, but you can't beat the convenience of these shakes!

These are really great! I buy them for my partner as he's always on the go, and he loves the taste of them. I love that this product is a quick on-the-go breakfast that is on the healthier side.

On mornings I don't have time to eat breakfast, I just grab one of these on my way out the door. They do satisfy your hunger for a little while, but I would still drink this alongside your normal breakfast. The vanilla ones are especially good!

I like the Chocolate Flavor and have tried the Strawberry as well .. I don't find them to be to filling though.

I had a coupon for buy one get one free for these and I ended up buying a vanilla and strawberry. I personally found it very satisfying and I didn't feel hungry after I had one. My husband on the other hand said he was still starving after one. So maybe he should have had 2? He's a big guys mind you so that's probably what he should have done. I had the vanilla and it was a smooth, nice flavour. My husband had the strawberry and he said they were okay.
