Pretty good for what you pay

I like the vector cereal, so this wasn't much of a problem for me taste-wise. I like the taste and texture.
Nutrition-wise, it is not bad for what you pay. Sometimes you pay double the amount of money for some protein bars with similar nutrition profile as this one, so I wouldn't complain about it being sugary or anything. (Some "protein bars" have more sugar than this one!!)
Overall I would continue to purchase these bars and they are often on sale, so that's even better!

Chocolate and Nut Combo- With Plenty of Protein

You can get a box with five bars for around $4 at Wal Mart. Each bar is 170 calories and contains 10 grams of protein. The bar is made up of trail mix on top, consisting of full cranberries, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, and peanuts. The bottom is dipped in a creamy smooth chocolate coating. I was surprised by how fresh the bars were. The syrup holding the trail mix together could be seen stretching like a light caramel thanks to the freshness. The bar is soft, chewy, and crunchy. It is only mildly sweet thanks to the natural sweetness of the cranberries. The chocolate on the bottom brings a nice twist to the nutty taste of the bar, but isn't overly sweet. The primary taste in the bar is a natural nuttiness. The bar also contains a fair amount of fibre with 4 grams (16% daily recommended); calcium (15%); iron (10%); and magnesium (10%). This tastes like a healthy trail mix bar, so if you don't like anything too sweet and love nuts, you'll love this. I'd buy it again.

A great grab n go treat

These bars are great for afternoon snacks to get you through to dinner time. Usual bars are loaded with sugar and lack in a protien punch but these are a great choice for a snack on the go.

Kind of fell short

I ate it, and the taste was pretty good. It just did not leave me feeling satisfied. I definitely would not eat it as a protein bar. It did have a better taste than most protein bars however. This tasted just like a granola bar therefore. That is why it did not leave me feeling satisfied. It did not give me any sort of energy or filled feeling.
Bottom line is that it is okay.

I was surprised at just how much I enjoyed the KELLOGGS VECTOR PROTEIN BAR TRAILMIX bars! Filled with wholesome goodness of sunflower seeds, cranberries, flax seeds and peanuts - this product tasted awesome. The chocolate bottom helped as well! There is 4 grams of fibre and 10 grams of protein which really made me happy but there was also 9 grams of sugar and an incredibly long ingredient list. I prefer my granola bars to have short and simple ingredient lists so unfortunately this would deter me from buying it again. It did not fill me up and left me hungry not long after. I also found it to be slightly dry. Overall this product tasted really delicious and has a great fibre and protein content. I would not recommend this to anyone looking for a filling and/or simple granola bar though.
