1 year of pleasure only
I received this brewer as a christmas gift from my boyfriend. Unfortunately, after a year of pleasure, this machine has to go to the garbage. We listenned some videos one youtube of how to clean our machine since we used it every day. The first month went well. But after couple of month, the brewer wouldn't give us coffee at all. We had to use paperclips and vinegar to try to remove all impureties into the machine but it woudn't work and heat after all we tried. Sorry Keurig, I won't buy this brewer again.
After using my Classic for years, I thought I'd upgrade last Christmas and promptly returned it to the store. It took over 2 minutes to heat the water and the controls are a nightmare for anyone who has dexterity issues. The display is way too small and it's impossible to make selections if you are incapable of precision.
I've gone through two of these brewers before i decided to just get a coffee pot. My first machine broke after a few months so I decided to get another. After using it for a few months I decided that I didn't care for the 'sludge' that it left i the bottom of the cup.
I have had this system for a few a few years now. I find it very convenient, but I don't find the taste of the coffee is that great. I use different bands, but my favourite is Maxwell house. I am not sure how long this machine will last. When it stops working, I will buy a much smaller unit for one or two cups only for a quick coffee in the morning, and will brew fresh coffee at night.
KEURIG SPECIAL EDITION BREWER;
The Keurig system is great!
Lots of flavors to choose from and brands.
Great in the office (like we have!) or at home for guests.
It can get very pricey if you have a large family and daily all consume caffeine.....
My husband and I bought one of these and we use it all the time. We have purchased k-cups we can use over and over again with our favorite coffee's. The only thing i don't like, is my ability to make latte's like the Tasmino. But other than its a hit in our family.
I know that these pod brewers are the big thing right now, but to me they just seems like a total ecological disaster and the coffee isn't all that good. I certainly see it's place in a waiting room or library, but not in my home. I have tried the teas on the Keurig several times and they always come out way too hot, which is a big no-no for green tea.
The coffee machine is great it puts out coffee like a pro coffee shop not the price ide like to pay again and the coffee it expencive
I bought this after my 2 year old smashed my coffee pot :( This is a safer alternative in my kitchen but I think I will return to a regular system soon. I don't mind the coffee but I like having a full pot.
