These are fun!My hairdresser asked to streak my hair with this...I have blond hair and I loved the matte look of this. She used the purple one which is a nice light purple...The product feels like a cross between chalk and pastels. The container looks like it would be easy to fit in your hand to apply the color as it fits in the palm of your hand and is circular.
The color came out looking really nice and blended through my hair perfectly.I was scared it was going to be bold and neon looking but its quite subtle. It washes away perfectly and with no residue or color left behind. However my hairdresser did warn if its applied and you use a heating device on your hair the color will stick in your hair for awhile.
These are so fun! I received a free product sample, so I decided to test it out for a night on the town! I have dark brown hair, but have blonde streaks throughout - so I just put the colour on my streaks. The colour is so bright and vibrant, I loved it - and got tons of compliments. Best thing, it washes right out! Just unsure if I'd use it on a regular basis.
It took me a while to understand what color bug was so here's the low down: it's a chalk product, water soluble, non permanent, reusable, handy and can be used on any colour.
It comes in an easy to use package and you can easily do it yourself. Basically, you use it with a hair product like hair spray. Spray your hair, then rub the product in. The colour is surprisingly pigmented, even on quite dark hair but you'll need to work at it to get really bright colour if you have dark brown or black hair.
You will get flake offs and it rubs off quite easily, so you'll need to wear an old tee or a towel around your shoulders- it will stain your clothes.
I love the idea of being able to change up your hair colour every day just like your make up but I don't love the way my hair feels after using this product.
It kind of feels like that halloween dye you can use- but it is a fun experiment and I loved the way the you could mix colours. I really like having streaks here and there of orange and pink to create a peachy colour.
