I don't think that this stuff does anything, I didn't notice any change in my baby. I used the entire bottle at various times. I do think that any pain in babies is very hard to tell but I don't want to give anything too strong

I used this quite a bit when my son was a baby, he would have really bad teething which all babies do and I was happy to have such a product to help him out and make it a little easier on him. It doesn't have dye in it so it'd doesn't leave a stain if it gets on their clothes.
