Fun, but not mess free!

I recieved this item in exchange for my honest review. My children received the Kinetic Sand, Mermaid Crystal Playset, 1.06lbs of Purple Play Sand, Gold Shimmer Sand, Storage and Tools. Both my son and daughter enjoyed it. The sand does stick together but when they are done after playing, there are always clumps on the floor. It can stain so be prepared by rolling up sleeves and always wash hands after use. The castle is opened by installing a seashell key. I can see this getting lost easily, so you may have to force it open to get the sand out. It comes with a scoop, the seashell key, a mermaid shaper, clamshell, 2 gems and 4 pearls. It's nice that the purple sand gets stored in the crystal castle and you can add more sand to it. There is golden sand on the bottom and there is a treasure chest shaper to create even more under the sea fun. The seashell key is also required to open the bottom sand keeper. Hopefully the seashell key doesn't get lost!

Fun Treasures to Uncover

My 3.5 year old girl LOVED uncovering the treasures in the sand, especially the mermaid, and creating a "Mermaid Castle" Sometimes its hard to play with sand toys inside without making a big mess, but the playset, and the way the sand sticks together makes it perfect to use as an inside toy that will keep them busy for hours.

Keeps kids busy

I recieved this kinetic sand mermaid crystal playset totally free. Isabella got to play with it while I photographed her and asked her opinion for this review. She obviously loved it. The hidden pearls and treasures were a big win for her. Mommy disliked the way the treasure boxed opened on the top and bottom. They give you this magical key that didn't work very magical for me. Lol
