very small plastic "treasure" inside

My kid like the small shawel and was enjoin to dig IN but from 3 hidden treasure, 2 was very very small and I would be afraid to let it inside. I checked on the website https://www.spinmaster.com/en-US/brands/kinetic/kinetic-sand-treasure-hunt-playset , it is say kids 3+

Cute Concept But Quickly Bored

My twin girls were excited to receive this toy, the Kidnetix Sand Mummy Tomb as they've previously played with this brand's products. However after opening it and digging out the items, they suddenly lost interest as it was "too easy" and most of the items dug out were exposed and visible upon opening the product right away so there was no excitement. They played with the kidnetix sand a bit, touched the artifacts found for maybe less than 10 mins then packed it back away. I could see how this toy would be a great stocking stuffer but as a toy that would last or maintain their interests for prolonged periods of time, I don't see that happening unfortunately. They are 7 years old.
