Cute and Fun Play, but Prepare for Mess!

I love the creative play that Kinetic Sand offers, and this set is a cute extension of that. The mystery aspect of the character you get adds some extra fun. The sand itself is a lovely texture - very soft with a slight glittery sparkle to it. Very much like magical snow! It has a lot of mold options, with the mountain itself and the sled on the lid. The bottom of the little figure (we got the reindeer!) has a cute little stamp of a tree and stars. I found it a bit tricky to get the sand out of the molds all in one piece. Parts of the sled are very thin. My kids really enjoy this and have incorporated it into many other games.

My only gripe is the mess. If you can keep it contained then it’s great. Otherwise, expect this sticky sand to travel. When the play has gotten a little too adventurous, I have found that it can be difficult to vacuum this sand up out of carpet. It has the potential to be very messy, but such is the cost of creativity!

It's on the small side though kids love anything cute. Packaging is appealing to kids. Easy to open.

Mould is well made and is a plus because it can be used as the container to keep it after play.

Sand itself doesn't stick to kids' hands but some of the glitter does. I would prefer no glitter for the little ones. Quality is comparable to expensive branded kinetic sands in the market.

The character included lacks color and appeal. It's the same exact color of the mould container. As a parent and my kids as well, find it a little redundant making it less appealing to the eyes.

I would recommend as it meets the sensory purposes of it but on the other hand I find the amount of the sand and other accessories included, to be lacking to keep children entertained. I know it's only meant to be on the smaller set but it can still be improved by adding colors to better grab kid's attention and add more to their imagination.

A lot of fun and entertainment

Kinetic Sand is such an amazing way to explore your kids' creativity. I received this snowy kinetic sand to recreate a winter sensory experience.
This is a great gift that my kids and even myself enjoy a lot. The sand is very easy to clean because it sticks together. The toy that came with the sand made the experience even more fun because they can make mountains and pretend to slide in the snow.
If you are starting to think of ideas for your kids Christmas gift I think this is a good one.

Great toy!

We loved this snowy surprise, we love kinetic sand for its endless possibilities and easy clean up! My daughter thought this was so fun with the bottom tray being a sled mould and the snowman having a slid to play on!

Great Calming and Sensory activity toy

It was nice watching my nephew having fun with his new Kinetic Sand Snowy Surprise. A new great sensory activity added to his Kinetic Sand collections. This is a fun-filled toy which kept the little one occupied. He was happy to uncover the surprise character hidden within. I find Kinetic Sand to be very beneficial in terms of encouraging independent and imagination building. Also, it is a great calming sensory activity.
The toy included the white Kinetic Sand which sticks together for easy shaping and did not dry at all. It is very easy to clean-up and I am glad that it does not create any mess. It also comes with a built-in sand stamp tool which can be used for creating fun impressions. It comes with a small container which makes it very easy to store.
I agree it is a great addition to a craft table, kids activities time and montessori toys
A great gift for kids, will keep your little one busy, get creative and I will definitely recommend this!

Fun time with mew kinetic sand

I received this amazing Kinetic Sand Snowy Surprise from Butterly and spin master for an exchange of an honest review. My little one loved it and he can’t stop playing with this kinetic sand. It is less messy as compared to other types of play sands… the particles stick together so its really very easy to clean up… it comes with two moulds and a surprise tiny character hidden in sand… it is a great fun activity for kids…
