Favorite Soap

I have sensitive skin and don't like soaps or cleansers that are heavily fragranced or are thick with heavy moisturizers. This soap is fragrance free, is great for sensitive skin, doesn't leave a residue (rinses clean), and cleans effectively- everything you could want in a bar of soap. The bar is considerable larger than standard bars- it's about 1.5 x the size of a standard bar of soap.

This product is a genuine old fashioned Castille soap with no strange additives or added fragrance. Something surprisingly hard to find. It's gentle, non drying, and great for all skin types . Since they're are no unnecessary chemical additives in this If I had a baby l wouldn't hesitate to use this! People who are allergic to fragrance or have multiple chemical sensitivities should probably pick this up.

PROS

- like all Castille soaps, doubles as a fantastic stain remover / laundry soap
- lathers nicely without sulfates
- large format size that lasts for a long time
- mild, hydrating soap

Cons
- gets very soft, mushy, gooey, gel like in texture very fast (l don't mind that, it's just a bit of a nuisance)
- large size is awkward to hold in the shower

I like how the soap feels on the skin, not dry, not too rich, skin feels soft as I bathe. I love using it with a micro fibre wash cloth, so my skin is both exfoliated and smooth afterwards.

This soap should not be stored in the bath or let stand in water because it will become a soggy mess and a breeding ground for bacteria. It needs to dry between use.

For very dry skin, l highly recommend their Olive and Honey bar soap. It is the richest soap I've ever tried! A bit too rich for me, unfortunately. I can't use it all the time outside of winter, cause it caused pimples for me.

I have not tried this but would love to.It just sounds so amazing that I will definitely be on the lookout for this product.I love purity in my facial soaps and a soap that will not further dry my skin .

I've been using this for the last few months and am still in love with it. This is a simple olive oil soap bar that's great for sensitive and dry skin. It keeps my skin soft and moisturized during the winter months. It lasts for a really long time if you take care in keeping it dry when not in use. I will continue to purchase this!

I have itchy, eczema prone and sensitive skin and this bar is wonderful.
