I use it for all my baking!

I have the kitchenaid stand mixer but this little hand mixer gets the job done, is easy to clean, and stores away nicely. It’s lasted for quite a few years and I would definitely get the same one if it were ever to break.

After a few months of making purees, soups and sauces with a traditional blender, I decided that I wanted a better way. One that involved less dishes, and more speed! With KitchenAid's track record in quality, I didn't want to settle for a lesser brand. When I invest in a piece of equipment for my kitchen, I don't want to have to replace it for a long time, if ever! I don't foresee ever having to replace this unit. It is easy to tell the difference between this unit and the cheap imitations. The weight of the "handle" itself is a testament to it's construction. I enjoy the fact that this unit came with a case for the different heads, and a guard to be used when blending in teflon pots. I held out for this model for that guard alone. Remember, not having to transfer to a separate dish before blending, is the key to fewer dishes!
