I really wanted to love this ice cream maker, and I did at first. It allowed me to make soft, creamy homemade ice cream. Very quickly it seemed to lose that ability, and my ice cream started to come out very liquidy. I don't know if the motor wore out quickly, or what, but given it cost about $100, it should have lasted more than a couple of weeks.

I recentky bought his attachment for my mixer. i found the way the paddle attaches to the mixer kind of awkward and not great. It is hard to do and feels a bit jimmyrigged, wish it would snap on or lock into place instead. Once all together though it works like a dream and makes amazing ice cream! A good price for the quality of it and works quickly, plus the bowl is large enough for a big batch of ice cream!
