100% OF CHICKS DIG IT
One of the best Vit C!
I have only recently incorporated Vitamin C into my routine and I love how the results are.
The 𝑭𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒉𝒍𝒚 𝑱𝒖𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒅 𝑽𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒏 𝑫𝒓𝒐𝒑 from @klairs.global is another favorite product of mine.
🍋I have been using this for 2 months now. It has a very clear and oil like texture. I take a few drops on my palm, rub it and then apply on my face. For this product, I do not combine it with a moisturizer because the Vitamin C content is not very high. It does have a slight citrus scent as well.
🍋I feel my skin is much clearer and brighter. Even my skin texture has improved so much. I do not get pimples often but I have used it at that time and it left no mark behind.
🍋One tip is to store it in a cool and dry place. I keep mine in the refrigerator because it can oxidize due to ascorbic acid.
Vitamin Yay!
My Experience:
This was the first vitamin c serum I purchased. I bought this specific product because I trust the brand. It’s reputable and the product is very popular among other individuals. Since this was my first vitamin c serum, I wanted a lower acid percentage. It is only 5% perfect for me.
I used this to brighten up, even out my skin tone, and fade away fresh acne scars on my face. The results were very promising. I noticed a positive change on my face after two weeks of daily use. When applying, I like to swipe toner on my face first. Then, apply 3 drops directly onto my face and use my fingers to spread it out. The product is oil-based, so it leaves a very slight oily finish once fully absorbed. I felt a very slight tingling sensation when I first used it, but my skin quickly adjusted to it after a week. The dropper helped apply the product. I had very precise control over how much product I wanted to use.
Transparent packaging is always a plus for me, I can see how much product I have remaining, so I know when to purchase another one. But...
What I Did Not Like:
The packaging. It is part of vitamin c's nature to oxidize when it is constantly exposed to oxygen. The packaging was not made with this in mind. My serum now has a yellow hue to it and I have not emptied the product yet. This caused my vitamin c to lose its effectiveness.
I would not buy this product again BUT..
I would not buy this product againt not because it’s not good, but because the vitamine C concentration is quite low so I would prefer to upgrade on a much higher concentration serum! Overall, this product is super good, my skin is dry with post/inflammatory hyperpigmentation and this product definitely help fade the marks away without drying my skin.
I would buy this product again!
I've been using this product once a day, every night. Since I have sensitive skin, like what it says on the box, I mix this serum with my moisturizer and then apply it onto my whole face. I always wake up with a brighter face, my acne scars are healing faster and my face feels more smooth too. I recommend storing this serum in the fridge where it is cool and dark, as it will make the serum last longer. Small bottle, but will definitely last you a long time and it's worth your money.
yes!
I love klairs. first they are cruelty free and vegan (mostly) company. They are super affordable. All of their products work so well. This one is no exception. I absolutely love this product and i have notice in combination with thier mask the wrinkles under my eyes are slowly going away! (mine are clearly from dry skin and not taking care of my skin) absolutely recommend!
Vitamin C is the one of the best ingredients out there to treat hyperpigmentation (aka dark spots or sun spots). Klairs' Freshly Juiced Vitamin C serum contains 5% Vitamin C concentation. Some people put it all over their face but I prefer using it as a spot treatment where you are most prone to get sun spots (on the cheeks for instance). You must stick to it for a couple of months to see actual results though. No such thing as miracle serum!
