These are great to have in your cupboard for when you need to make a quick soup broth, or need to add extra flavour to a dish. I like using these for French onion soup so I don't have to make my own broth, or to add extra flavour to a slow-cooked chilli or casserole. It tends to be quite salty, so I usually less than the recommended amount for the dish I'm making.
I try to 7 make my own broth but sometimes It really a little extra flavour so I use these , for soups , stews or gravies , I will even add a bit to rice to give it a bit of flavour . They are definitely a pantry staple item
These cubes are good but I rather have the chicken version. I'm not sure if it's just me but the beef version tastes kinda strange like too artificial and salty. I guess you could use it for some dishes though :/
These are a staple in my pantry I use them quite a bit to add flavor to a bunch of dishe . Mainly used to enhance rice. Love them and glad they are available at most stores because other brands are not as good
I don't use these often, only when I make stew in the winter time. I find the Knorr cubes have the best flavour out of most brands. A great quality product.
I use a coupons so its cheap. Good for soups and i even add sometimes to noodles for flavour, and for a greavy , kind of cheating when i dont have a home made broth. Not too much or it will be too salty, price is good
I do not buy or use these on a regular basis since I prefer fresh home made broth. I just think these are not healthy for you. However, there are days when I do not have home made beef broth on hand and want a soup base that is more than just water, salt, and vegetables. On those days where I need fresh a beef broth substitute, I would throw one in to add some additional flavor. It's definitely not something I have to have in the kitchen but given the shelf life of these, it doesn't hurt to have them.
Just as the chicken ones, I always have the beef ones on hand as well. I always add this to my beef base to amp up taste. I find the taste to enhance the beef flavor, again great price point great brand.
Have used Knorr for years and loved the little tubs of flavor the get added to the boiling water. The Knorr is what I use when I need that "missing tweek". I have always used Knorr because I knew the flavor and taste was going to be great!
I am definitely not a fan of these Beef Boullion cubes. I don't like the taste of them to me they just don't have a real beefy taste. I have never had any luck with them dissolving properly I find tge quite difficult to get them to fully dissolve. I do prefer powder boullions to these cubes for sure.
