Perfect for busy weeknight meals!

Sometimes you just don't have time to cook a nice meal and feel guilty getting take out. Knorr One-Skillet meals are perfect for those somewhat-lazy days - where you still want to cook, but don't want to spend too much time on it.

I really enjoyed the amount of flavour in this Moroccan chicken dish. It was a great combination of spices paired with the addition of raisins that add some sweet notes to the dish. I especially love that you can cook it all in one skillet to save on the post-dinner clean up. I would definitely recommend stocking up on a few packets of these for busy evenings.

Love the flavor of this dish! So easy to make just add the chicken and the rest is all there for you. I was skeptical before trying and pleasantly surprised at good it was.

If you got to add ingredients it's not as quick as you think

I am always excited to try new dishes, especially ones that boast themselves as being quick and easy. I was given the opportunity to try Knorr's One Skillet Meals in Moroccan Chicken with Barley. Now initially I was truly a happy camper however the second I saw "just add" chicken, cauliflower, carrots AND raisins my smile slowly diminished. It's not because I'm lazy or that I don't like to cook from scratch, but let's be real here if I am going to be adding all these ingredients I might as well make it from scratch.

When I think of Knorr Side Dishes I immediately think "quick and easy" but this One Skillet Meal wasn't so quick and easy. The meal tasted delightful ( I didn't add raisins ) however it certainly wasn't a fast solution to accommodate my growling tummy. You will also need to get the 'extra' ingredients and prepare them first. Sounds like a lot of work for a fast side dish/meal.

I won't be buying this because it's kind of inconvenient for me and my family. I mean if I have to prep other foods to 'add' to a semi prepared meal then I will make it from scratch myself. I also won't be rushing out to tell my friends and family about this product as I believe they won't be fussy on it for the same reasons. This is something that I would definitely skip passed in the grocery store.

Moroccan Chicken with Barley is delish!

Knorr Moroccan Chicken and Barley is one of the best packaged meals our family has tried. We added some chicken and cooked it up easily. We actually ate it as a meal. It was surprisingly very tasty and delicious. We would definitely purchase and make this again.

One Love For One Skillet Meals!

I was chosen to#tryKnorr and received a Knorr One Skillet Meal in Moroccan Chicken with Barley. This is a side dish that requires you to add your protein and vegetables to the barley and spices in the packet. I loved that this made cooking barley a snap as typically it takes awhile to cook barley. My family quite liked this dish as well. If you don’t like spicy foods then maybe this isn’t the dish for you but I would buy it again.

I received this product to test by Family Rated. I like the idea of barley instead of rice or pasta, nice change. I also like that you can add fesh meat and vegetables. However I did not like the spices, found them over powering. Also too salty for my taste.

Never tried barley...

I’ve never trie cooking barley, but this pouch made it super simple. I was able to do so with no complications - everything was written on the back of the pouch.

Flavour wise, I was able to adjust it to what I like - just adding a bit of spice in it.
