Great taste!

Knorr bouillon cubes were a staple in my mother’s kitchen growing up but I moved away from them as I started avoiding MSG so I love that that they have a more natural option available without the MSG. Same delicious flavour but a little more natural tasting which I prefer. I got this sample for free but will definitely be buying again.

Great product

I thoroughly enjoyed using this product, it was tasty, easy to use and reviewing the costs online it’s very economical. I love chicken bouillon and it’s very good and made with all the right ingredients. So delicious!

Awful with no flavour

I had to use an absurd amount to get any flavour, would not purchase this. They want me to write more, but I have nothing more to say. The product is garbage, don't waste your money. Make your own stock, buy the stuff in boxes, just don't use the flavourless salt cubes.

Gotten many Kudos

I used a cube in my slow cooker with a chicken and some onion. WIth the juices I made gravy. I was told it was one of the best gravies I have made. Even after saving the gravy for a few days, I was told it may even be better. Thanks Knorr for making my gravy a hit!

Knorr chicken bouillon cubes

I've been using Knorr for years. The chicken bouillon cube is versatile, easy to use and it's separated by portion. It adds flavour to any dish. The chicken seasoning doesn't over power the flavour of your dish. It's an alternative to salt or other seasonings.

Convenient bouillon cubes without the MSG!

I received these bouillon cubes for free to try. All opinions are my own. I really loved the idea of a more natural bouillon cube. It is great that these are made without MSG. That is a plus for those with MSG allergies!

The first difference I noticed about these cubes compared to the traditional bouillon cubes was that the dilution ration was different. These called for 1 cube per 2.5 cups of boiling water compared to typical cubes using 1 cube per 2 cups of water. I used this product to make a lentil soup I make often. I found the ratio of bouillon to water to be a little lacking in flavour. I added some extra bouillon to compensate. So, I would say you may want to use the typical ratios when using this product rather than what it says on the box.

The overall flavour and smell of this product was nice. Much less artificial tasting than your typical bouillon cube. It also has a nice natural colour with a hint of yellow. I found it did create more foam on top of my soup than when I’ve made it before with regular bouillon cubes.

I cannot comment on value as I do not know how much these retail for in store. Overall though, if these cost only a bit more than the regular cubes, I would buy these over my typical brand as I like that these are a more natural option.

Knorr Selects Chicken Bouillon Cubes

I used one Knorr Selects Chicken Bouillon Cube in my Chickpea Chicken Soup. It was a new and positive addition to my soup. The bouillon added great flavoring without the overpowering taste of salt, often found in many bouillon cubes. I will definitely recommend this to my family and friends.

My new favourite bouillon cubes

I love that these bouillon cubes are natural and free from MSG, etc. They are great tasting, easy to use and will replace the ones I use to use previously which were much higher in salt.

A great, quality product!

Going forward these are the only bouillon cubes I will use when a recipe calls for them. I used them in my homemade cream of mushroom soup recipe and they were perfect. They aren’t too salty, they added plenty of flavour and I love knowing that they are made with real, wholesome ingredients free from MSG, artificial flavours, artificial colours and artificial preservatives. Great tasty product!

I personally stay away from a lot of salty food and don’t add much seasoning when I cook. I decided to make some homemade soup and add a cube for flavouring.I was very happy since it was not salty at all! It dissolves very easily and is not clumpy. I would highly recommend this product!
