Good but could use more flavour

My family tried this product for lunch today. It was quick and easy to make. All you had to add was one tbsp of oil and some water. It was ready in less than 15 minutes which makes this a good go to option on a busy day. The sauce was flavourful and covered the pasta completely but I thought it could have had a more bold flavour. I think the addition of Parmesan cheese would have been nice. Overall I would buy this in the future.

Not the greatest

I'm not a huge fan of pesto, but I tried to keep an open mind while sampling this. I found it to be too salty and the sauce never thickened up as well as the package said it would, even though I followed the instructions without any deviation.

We loved it

I cooked this as a side with chicken.. I thought it was really tasty and so easy to make. Perfect for one of those night when you just don’t know what too cool as a side! I’ll definitely be buying some. I did receive this product for free for my honest opinion.

Just ok

I received this free from FamilyRated Club for testing purposes. The taste was ok, but not enough to eat it again. I will not purchase again. My husband didn’t like it either!

Great help when in rush

I got to try this Knorr Selects roasted garlic pesto with volanti pastsa as a sample to try at no cost.
I like to cook for myself and myself and try to cook as much as I can on a daily basis. But sometimes you just don't have time to make great dinner in such short period of time and this product helped me out.
I "doctored up" this product by adding some cooked chicken so that it becomes a complete meal. Served with some green salads and everyone was pretty happy with the final products. Worth keeping few of these in your pantry.

better than your average easy meal

This was actually pretty good. I was surprised as i didnt expect much but for what you get its actually pretty good and is easy to make. The flavor is very close to the same type of pesto you would buy in the store to add to noodles. nice addition to a meal

Satisfied my craving!

I was really impressed with the flavor of this. Even after I had accidently added too much water I still found that the overall consistency and flavor wasnt ruined. The pasta itself has a good texture and cooks relatively quickly. It goes well as a side dish or as a meal if you are in a pinch.

Making meal time easy.

This is the perfect side dish for those busy days when you don't have the time or energy to make a homemade meal. It's easy to make and only takes 8 minutes to cook. I had this alongside of chicken and vegetables and it complimented my meal nicely. The pasta was cooked to perfection and had a nice garlic flavor that wasn't overpowering at all but in my opinion seasoned to perfection. I like that this does not contain preservatives, artificial flavors or colours. The only way the Knorr Selects could get any better is if they cut the sodium level. In my opinion the selects are considerably better tasting and better quality than the sidekicks. I will definitely be buying this again as it's a flavor that my family and I enjoyed. #gotitfree #tryknorr

I wish I liked this

I got this for free to try it and I really wanted to like it but I really didn't. I usually love their side dishes but I just found the mix of the pesto and the garlic way too strong for me

Ok but small portion and very salty

I really wanted to like this product. I love pesto and garlic and I find it hard to find good quality "ready to go" products which are not laden with sugar and more artificial ingredients than actual food.
On the plus side, this product is "real" food. It does not contain added sugar and its ingredient list is pronounceable, normal ingredients. Where this product falls short is on portion size and taste. First off, the package does not state recommended servings (in my experience usually 4 servings is listed on most pre-packaged sides like this) but under the Nutrition Information it lists the info based on 1/3 of the package. Based on this I assume the package is for 3 servings. I found it was just enough for 2. If you are preparing this product expecting there to be a sufficient amount for the standard 4, you will be disappointed and hungry. The second issue is with taste. This product is very, very salty. I am a salt person, I like salty things and have no sodium restrictions. This level of salt was something else entirely. Both myself and my husband found the salt overwhelming and the taste just ok. When you got past the salt, the general flavor was not great...kind of like burnt garlic with a bitter aftertaste.
I cannot recommend this product and will not purchase it in the future.
