very good

I have never tried Ethiopian food before. I have heard so many great things about it and was excited to receive this spice mix from FamilyRated and Knorr.

I didn't follow the Knorr recipe. Instead I followed another recipe using another brand's berbere spice to make chicken. I followed (and altered) this recipe.

You can really smell and taste the cinnamon in the spice mix - which for me is a good thing.

the result was good, but not quite as flavourful as I would have expected. maybe I needed to add more than just the spice mix, onions and garlic. I will keep finding other ways to use this spice mix. I do think this recipe would have worked better with lamb (given the cinnamon) as opposed to the chicken.

Not my favourite

I personally just did not love the taste of this product. I think others would though (my partner did!). I have to say it was quite easy to make, and it comes with a recipe on the back for Ethiopian Lentils, which is what we tried.

Again, I think this just has to do with my personal taste pallette. I recieved this free from Family Rated to try. Thank you!

trés bon choix de mélange

ce mélange est trés agréable a essayer avec vos plats bien épicés, assaisonnement naturel sans agent de conservation qui donne beaucoup de gout a vos plats ma famille a adoré

Goût différent!

J'ai reçu gratuitement le mélange d'assaisonements Berberé pour en faire l'essai et je l'ai utilisé dans une recette à base de pois chiche. Cela a donné un goût très différent de ce que nous mangeons habituellement, mais très bon!! Pas trop épicé, on dirait que nous mangeons un plat d'un autre pays! Merci pour ce nouveau produit!

A Taste of Ehtiopia

I got to try this for free. Overall, these type of products are very convenient and a great alternative to buying and stocking your own spice rack. I have tried Ethiopian before so do have an acquired taste, and can say Knorr has done justice with this blend of herbs and spices. It's pleasant tasting and everyone in my family felt it was good and the right balance.

I received the producet: KNORR TASTE OF ETHIOPIA BERBERE SEASONING BLEND htrough the program of Family rated. I have berbere roots and i so much loved these spices. It remind me of my childhood. Be careful its spicy :D

Epices berberes de Knorr

J'ai eu la chance de recevoir ce mélange d'épices berbères de Knorr.
J'aime beaucoup l'utiliser, il remplace beaucoup de mes épices que j'utilise régulièrement. C'est plus pratique maintenant, une cuillère du mélange et le tour est joué.
Il y a un bon équilibre entre les différentes épices.
Je l'utilise pour tous mes plats.

If you like it hot, you'll like this.

If you like your food hot, and it to leave a lingering burny tingling sensation on your lips, this is the product for you. If you're like me and my family, and like things to have a little more of a mellow taste, you might want to skip this product. I used italian meatballs, about two tablespoons of this product on the meatballs, rice with about 2 tablespoons of margarine, and a pinch of salt (cooked separately), Hunt's 4 Cheese Tomato Sauce, a 1/4 bag of No Name Peas and Carrots with a pinch of salt and about 2 tablespoons of margerine (cooked separately), a little soy sauce,combined them all, and it's still got quite a bit of zing to it.

I had the pleasure to receive a free seasoning packet. I've used it a few times just to get a good taste of things. And I must say it's very good. I'm usually very picky when it comes to spices, this was very good. I tried new recipes also with this. So amazing!

Ethhiopia Berbere Seasoning

I made a chicken stir fry and used this spice to add flavor. I have to tell you , it taste really good. It has just the right amount of spices in it. Full of flavor, ahhhmazing , absolutely would buy this product.
