Great flavor

Absolutely flavorful. Used this in several recipes and it was great. My chicken actually had flavor to it. Nice texture and creates a nice aroma in my home. Such a great blend of spices. Great value in stores, I received the product free however have checked prices out and it is priced appropriately.

Easy, approachable and adventurous!

I love Ethiopian food and while there are a few restaurants in my city, it was definitely fun to make it at home. I've always been a bit afraid of trying to make Ethiopian dishes at home, thinking the spices would be too exotic to find or too time consuming. But this was insanely easy to make with ingredients you can find at any grocery store. I followed the recipe on the back of the package for a Ethiopian chickpea stew which turned out pretty damn good. I would definitely use this again. I loved the packaging. It has a velcro-like seal, so nothing comes out; it just feels more secure. Do note that there is a hint of spice in the seasoning. It is very mild for me but my sister's small children were able to notice it but did not mind it. I really liked that Knorr's website had a variety of recipes for each seasoning. All the recipes looked easy to make and one package really goes a long way. I'm also thinking of adding this to some meat and tossing it on the grill. Would be a great theme dinner. Lots of flavour, easy to use. Step into another world through your plate without leaving the comfort of your home!

Delicious mixed spice

I was so pleased to receive this product for free to review for Chick Advisor!

First of all the packaging is very attractive and I love the zipper closure. It's very secure so I don't have to worry about spillage in my spice cupboard.

I used this spice mix on chicken drumsticks and it turned out quite delicious. The taste is warm and pleasant, not really a hot spice. My kids both enjoyed it.

perfect shortcut to an authentic-tasting dish

Everything about this product is on point, from the packaging, w/ its resealable top, clear window on the front so you can see the spice blend, & simple starter recipe on the back... through to the delicious end result.
We whipped up a batch, froze it, brought it up to the cottage for a big family meal, & all twelve servings disappeared right quick. Yes, it's got some zing to it, but if you've ever eaten Ethiopian food before, that's rather to be expected! We offered plain white rice, for those who found it a bit overpowering.

If you like it hot, you'll like this.

If you like your food hot, and it to leave a lingering burny tingling sensation on your lips, this is the product for you. If you're like me and my family, and like things to have a little more of a mellow taste, you might want to skip this product. I used italian meatballs, about two tablespoons of this product on the meatballs, rice with about 2 tablespoons of margarine, and a pinch of salt (cooked separately), Hunt's 4 Cheese Tomato Sauce, a 1/4 bag of No Name Peas and Carrots with a pinch of salt and about 2 tablespoons of margerine (cooked separately), a little soy sauce,combined them all, and it's still got quite a bit of zing to it.

Good but not for me!

It comes in a very attractive package and a fair amount. I used it as seasoning for a chicken stir fry. The flavouring is good, however I find the cinnamon and coriander a little too overpowering for my taste buds. Its good, but just not for me. I wouldnt purchase it.

So good!

I had the pleasure to receive a free seasoning packet. I've used it a few times just to get a good taste of things. And I must say it's very good. I'm usually very picky when it comes to spices, this was very good. I tried new recipes also with this. So amazing!

Délicieux sur du poulet

Très bon sur des cuisses de poulet. Ça donne un bon petit goût pas trop piquant avec un petit croquant sur la peau de la cuisse de poulet. Je recommande vraiment ce mélange d'assaisonment.

Ethhiopia Berbere Seasoning

I made a chicken stir fry and used this spice to add flavor. I have to tell you , it taste really good. It has just the right amount of spices in it. Full of flavor, ahhhmazing , absolutely would buy this product.

Developed Flavour

This handy spice package made cooking a new meal fun, easy and affordable. There is a simple recipe on the back that shows you how to create the recipe displayed on the front. This spice blend has enough to make many recipes later which I'm very excited about. I would suggest this to any friend or family member that wants to get creative in the kitchen without having to buy a whole spice cabinet full of expensive ingredients.
