Really, really tasty!

We usually stick to our old reliable stand-bys, but thought it might be nice to spice things up a tad. This turned out really well and the flavour was outstanding. Even our picky eater had to admit it was great. We definitely recommend the Knorr Taste of Ethiopia!

Super flavorful and a great addition to your meal

I've never used spice like this before and I was pleasantly impressed. I used it with chicken and it added a unique touch of flavor that I haven't experienced before. You got different flavors with each bite which made it fun to eat. Thank you for the free sample and I will purchase this and others again.

Beautiful spice blend just not for me

I was so excited to receive this spice blend to try for free. I love to cook and especially cook with new flavours. I unfortunately found the spice blend too much for my personal preference but my husband really enjoyed it. I will use the spice blend again for certain dishes for my husband.

Did not care for this one

I didnt overly care for this one , im all for useing difderent seasionings and zpices i love to cook with them and this is a great opportunity to try new ones.

I dont usually like to try different spices that im not use to. But i was really surprised to see how easy it was to prepare my meal and so delicious.
I look forward to trying the other varieties.

Interesting blend of spices

We tried this particular blend on some ground chicken for our tacos. Not something I would do again; however, I would like to try it on my next roast!

Nice earthy flavour

I'm vegetarian so based on the sample recipe on the back of the package, I decided to make a simple stew with a coconut milk base. I wasn't sure how spicy Berbere seasoning would be so I used about half of the suggested amount. The flavour was a nice rich earthy spice rather than hot/chili spice.
I really like that this is pure spice blend, there is no salt, starch, or other fillers, so it is just flavour. The amount of seasoning in the package is enough for at least another 4 stews like the one I made.

Added this flavorful spice to several meals ...really loved it...especially on pork chops and broth done in slow cooker...served with rice..YUM! YUM!

Little bit of heat

So first and for most I got this product for free through the Family Rated Campaign.

Truthfully I'm not sure this is a blend I would cook with a lot just because the flavors it pairs well with I'm still working on incorporating more into my diet. It has a nice low heat, and pairs well with chickpea dishes. It's definitely a nice one to have tucked into the cupboard, especially if you are trying the meatless Mondays trend that is currently a big thing.
