When I received this free sample, I had all the other ingredients on-hand to make the Ethiopian stew receipe on the back of the package -- everyone loved it.
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking to flavour-up their meals without having to buy a lot of different ingredients.
I am looking forward to trying Knorr's other blends.

I received this spice as a promo to review it and I have used Berbere before in other cooking and absolutely love it. It's also a huge hit with the kids. If you like flavourful but not necessarily spicy, try this!

To add more spice, just add a bit more of the spice blend. We made the chick pea recipe in the back and it was really good. Would highly recommend for those adventurous cooks!

I fell in love with this flavor pack. Loved the recipe on the back and the Seasoning wasn't too overpowering. It was great to use to introduce new tastes into our cooking!

I was happy to try Knorr Taste of Ethiopia Berbere Seasoning Blend for free from Family Rated. I followed the recipe on the back of the package for Ethiopian Lentil and Chickpea Stew. It was easy to prepare and was delicious. Definitely a dish that would be great on a cold fall evening along with a warm loaf of bread and a green salad. I would happily make this again.

I really enjoyed this Berbere spice mix. I have come across recipes I have wanted to make before that called for this mix but I didn’t make them because I could not find it at the store and did not want to buy all the individual spices to make it. This Knorr mix is so convenient and cost effective. It was also very tasty and had a recipe right on the back for an Ethiopian stew which I made. It was an easy recipe and turned out great! I love trying different ethnic foods. I am so glad I got to try it complimentary of Family Rated.

So delicious, definitely not something I'd create on my own!

Decided to follow the recipe for an Ethiopian Chickpea and Lentil stew, but realized I didn't have everything I needed, so I added stewing beef, and swapped out the lentils for barley and boy oh boy this did not disappoint!

The recipe called for 3 tablespoons of the seasoning blend and since I wasn't following exact measurements for everything else, I opted to put less as I felt the pouch was already so small and to think that it would only be sufficient for a couple meals is a bit disappointing.

Nonetheless, the taste was amazing, I was very pleasantly surprised when it all came together, I can imagine this would be a great rub for chicken or meats and doesn't just have to be in a stew. I'd love to discover more recipes on the Knorr website featuring this seasoning blend!

Knorr Berbere seasoning, wow!

Absolutely delicious!!! Loved the spices, flavors, the meal even looked fantastic when it was served!!
It took a while to decide what recipe to make with this powerful seasoning blend, and in the end I decided to make a chickpea stew, like the photo on the package.
My children love chickpeas, but the seasoning blend was a little too spicy for them.
My husband and loved it, however! We are looking forward to tryng it again with another recipe.

Délicieux et simple

J’ai eu la chance de tester gratuitement ce produit grâce à #knorr et #Familyrated et j’en suis ravie! J’ai adoré la simplicité, une recette délicieuse est proposé ( que j’ai testé mais oublié de photographié) mais c’est aussi très simple a incorporé à d’autre plats, ou simplement mélanger avec de l’huile d’olive pour mariner de la viande! Très goûteux mais sans être trop « fort » , toute la famille à adoré! Et puisque que l’ont a assez d’un sachet pour faire plusieurs recettes, c’est selon moi un bon rapport qualité-prix puisque vendu pour 4.99$ au iga!

What a great way to try some different spice combinations without committing a lot of time and energy blending them yourself. I’m always looking for ways to reduce meat consumption and using this blend in my lentil dish really kicked the flavours up a notch!
