I had the opportunity to try Knorr Taste of Japan Shichimi Togarashi Seasoning as I #gotitfree @FamilyRated #FamilyRatedClub @KnorrCanada. I used this spice on chicken thighs. It is easy to use and it goes a long way. I didn’t mind the texture as it is like other spices. I did find it a bit too spicy for me as I am not big on spicy, however my guests enjoyed it very much. I like that you can reseal the bag so it stays fresh. I will try it on beef and would like to try it in soups too.

My friends said they would be definitely purchasing it. Thanks for the chance of trying it.

Great spice blend

My husband and I love trying out different spices when cooking. I was happy to receive this product to try for free. It has a lot in the package and a little goes a long way. We used it on chicken thighs and it was delicious. He would love to try the salmon recipe next. I think it would go well with a lot of recipes using different meats or even vegetarian options. I will probably buy it again. The only flaw in my opinion is that the packaging is not recyclable.

J'ai été des plus ravies de faire l'essai de ces nouvelles épices de Knorr. Ce mélange de Shichimi Togarashi parfume les plats avec des saveurs japonaises juste à point. Moi qui adore manger épicer, j'ai ADORÉ son goût de piment rouge, d'algue nori et de sésame. J'ai fait exactement la recette sur l'emballage et ce fut un vrai délice.
Je recommande ces épices à tous les amateurs de plats remplis de saveurs.

Tastes great with Salmon!

I tried the Knorr Taste of Japan - Shichimi Tagarashi seasoning blend last night with salmon. I followed the instructions on the back of the package and it was easy and quick to prepare. It tasted amazing served over rice with some seaweed flakes. I would definitely recommend this seasoning blend.

As part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, I was sent the Knorr Taste of Japan Shichimi Togarashi Seasoning Blend for testing. My kids are into Japanese food, so when I used this seasoning on the beef, they loved it. They like the spicy taste and the nori seaweed on the beef. There is no need to use a lot of the seasoning on the meat to bring out the flavour. I will be doing a lot of cooking with this seasoning blend and I recommend it. #gotitfree

Delicious and so versatile

I received this seasoning from Chickadvisor for free for review purposes. When I saw it I knew right away that I wanted to make a sushi bowl recipe. The packet doesn't seem like much but a little goes a long way. I was able to use only 1 tbsp of the seasoning to make a full week of lunches. It's spicy and peppery and so flavourful. I paired it with tofu but I could see it being delicious on anything even just rice.

I received this for free to try out. There is a recipe on the back of the package along with a website for different recipes. This was my first time using this so the recipe on the back was very convenient.

It comes in a reusable package that reseals so you can use at your convenience. Whether you are just making a meal for yourself entire family or having a dinner party.

The taste and texture was delicious but very spicy. If you love spicy food then this product is definitely for you. I am not one for really spicy, hot food. I would buy it again and use alot less than what I used.

Overall it made my salmon taste great and I enjoyed trying it.

Spice up your Salmon!

I followed part of the recipe that was suggested through the Knorr link. I marinated my salmon in soy and the Japan Shichimi Togarashi seasoning and put it in the fridge. I then baked it in the oven for 20 minutes. It was a little crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. I could definitely taste the soy and seasoning flavours come through. It had a bit of a sweet and spicy taste at the same time but overall, added a nice and different flavour to the salmon.

Flavourful and quick to make meals!

I consider myself a lazy cook where I try to find ways to make delicious meals with the least about of effort. This seasoning fits the bill, quick and easy to make! You must need to buy the ingredients, then mix it all in a bowl, marinate the meat/fish, then cook! In this case, I followed the recipe on the website as suggested on the package. It was easy to follow with only 3 steps! The salmon came out nicely and I'm surprised to taste it can be pretty spicy. Add less of the seasoning if you don't like too much spiciness in your food. Overall I would recommrnd to give this a try! It certainly spiced up my salmon and rice dish today!
