Spicy hot! Knorr Taste of Japan Shichimi Togarash Seasoning

I received Knorr Taste of Japan Shichimi Toragashi Seasoning Blend for free to try and review. I used this for my husband and I. It's 100% natural, with no salt, no preservatives and no MSG which is always great. Unfortunately we found this blend just really spicy hot. It has Paprika, Organic Black Pepper, Organic Cayenne Pepper, Organic white & black Sesame Seeds, Mustard Seeds, Dried Nori Seaweed , Organic Garlic Powder, Organic Ginger, Orange Peel. We couldn't really distinguish any flavour(s) which was disappointing. If we're going to eat spicy we want a flavour to go with it and we just didn't find that with this. If you like heat you might want to give it a try, otherwise I say give it a miss.

J'ai reçu gratuitement: Knorr Taste of Japan Shichimi Togarashi Seasoning Blend.
J'ai bien aimé l'assaisonnement. J'ai apprécié qu'il soit sans agent de préservation et sans sel ajouté. J'ai fait l'essai avec un morceau de saumon et toute la famille a apprécié.

Pour les amateurs de plats très épicés seulement

J'ai eu la chance d'essayer le mélange d'assaisonnements Taste of Japan Shichimi Togarashi puisque Knorr m'a offert un produit gratuit. #GotItFree Dès l'ouverture du sachet, j'ai su que le tout allait être très épicé en raison de la forte odeur de poivre, de paprika et de cayenne. La texture du mélange d'assaisonnements est très fine mis à part quelques graines de sésame noires et blanches.
J'ai essayé la recette de saumon inscrite sur le sachet, toutefois, je n'ai pas du tout aimé. Bien que j'apprécie la nourriture bien assaisonnée et piquante, le goût est trop épicé et trop prononcé pour moi. Puisque le saumon a un goût très fin, je n'ai pas pu apprécier mon plat en raison de l'assaisonnement qui camouflait tout. Le goût piquant et épicé reste longtemps en bouche. J'ai réessayé le mélange en plus petite quantité avec une poitrine de poulet et le résultat a malheureusement été le même. Le sachet de 63g est toutefois une bonne valeur qualité et quantité/prix car il en faut très peu pour que les plats soient très goûteux. Par contre, je ne le recommande pas si vous n'aimez pas les plats très très épicés. Donc, pour amateurs avertis seulement !!

Spicy Japanese-inspired blend

We love to mix protein and rice in our home, and I'm always looking for a new way to spice it up. The Knorr Shichimi Togarashi spice mix is the perfect blend of Japanese-inspired spices and heat. It mixes well with fish and beef, giving meat and veggie dishes a nice kick.

I've been using this blend as a meat marinade. I mix it with a bit of oil and allow the meat to rest in the mixture for about 30 minutes. The result is meat fully infused with a nice spicy kick.

I also really, really love that the bag is resealable. Like, really resealable. It has a neat velcro-like top that doesn't get clogged up by the spice mix, so it continues to seal again and again. It's a small thing, but it makes a huge difference.

Exotic

I liked this seasoning never used much of it as of yet i was never a person that liked ginger but i do not mind it with this seasoning at all i love the peppery taste, I used this spice on some noodles and my family very much liked the taste they thought it was a new side dish I also made some brown rice with peppers and used this spice and i was very surprised at how well this tasted i will be using this again in my rice i love trying new things and watching my family's faces when they react to the flavours i have used What a great experience thank you

Prometteur, à essayer!

J'ai reçu ce produit gratuitement pour en faire l'essai. Je l'ai testé dans quelques recettes, certaines comprenant déjà des assaisonnements. Pour l'instant, je n'ai pas réussi à avoir le dosage parfait pour goûter le mélange de façon optimale et faire qu'il ne surpasse pas le goût de tout le reste. Par contre, je n'ai pas encore essayé la recette notée sur l'emballage qui semble délicieuse - je me laisserai sûrement tenter!
De ce que j'ai pu constater, le mélange est très satisfaisant et apporte un côté un peu piquant, mais pas surpuissant. N'ayant pas été en mesure de bien doser mes expérimentations, je ne peux malheureusement pas en dire beaucoup plus sur le goût. Il est recommandé d'utiliser ce mélange avec du poisson ou des fruits de mer et cela semblait bien s'agencer quand je l'ai fait.
Je recommande donc aux gens voulant apporter un peu de piquant à leurs recettes, sans se casser la tête, d'essayer ce mélange Shichimi Togarashi.

Great taste

I got this Knorr taste of Japan shichimi togarshi seasoning blend from chickadvisor(FamilyRated) for free. I tried marinate chicken and fish with it. My family really enjoy the flavor. I like it all just natural spicy without any MSG. It taste great with all cooking method, grill, fry or bake. We will pick up more in store next time.

I would buy this product again

Thanks to Familyrated I had the opportunity to try Knorr taste of Japan Shichimi togarashi seasoning blend. It goes well with sea food (stirred fry, hot pot) and I really enjoy the taste. I love the way you make this stuff because it was the only thing that I added to the food and that's enough. I can't wait to try it with others dishes and I hope they will turn out great.

I had the opportunity to try Japan Shichimi togarashi Knorr seasoning blend thanks to Family Rated. What a wonderful product!. it has all the japan flavour in one package. I do not have to go and look for all the spices that i love to put in it is just one step and I can taste the delicious dishes with this blend. I highly recommended to the person that love japan dishes. After I used during a dinner with my friends I received so many compliments that i had to tell them the secret!.
