Great Taste
As part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, I was sent the Knorr Taste of Korea- Korean BBQ Seasoning Blend for testing. First of all, I am not a fan of spicy food, but to my surprise, I am in love with this seasoning blend. I tried the recipe on the back of the package and used chicken instead of pork. The spiciness is just right and my kids love it. They said that it almost taste like it is cooked from a restaurant. I am keeping this in my spice rack. #gotitfree
Adds some jazz to meal
This seasoning blend is suggested to be used with pork or squid. I tried it with pork and marinated it with soy sauce and then mixed in the seasoning, coating the pork pieces before I grilled them. It was a tasty addition to the pork with a bit of a sweet but spicy flavour. Not too much of each. The ingredients list red chili pepper, garlic and brown sugar with some sesame seeds , ginger and orange peel. Some of the ingredients are organic which is nice. This was a nice change to my regular boring seasoning salt.
Easy and quick to make!
This is my first time using this type of seasoning and I was nervous to see the end results. I followed the suggested recipe on the package which you have to go to the website to see the step by step instructions... And there is only 3 steps! It took less than 40 minutes to prep and cook. 30 minutes is pretty much letting it sit in the fridge to marinate. See picture for the end results and I was not disappointed. My international student really loves it too! The package will last a long time since only 2 tbps is required for 4 slices of pork. Quite tasty and didn't expect there is a bit of spicinest to it. Will definitely recommend to give this a try!
Yum! Kept going back for more.
We used this on sliced pork loin. It marinated for over 24 hours in the fridge and OMG. So good! When I first poured it into the frying pan to cook it I immediately knew it was going to be delicious. Smelled amazing! It reminds me quite a bit of teriyaki. We served it with rice and steamed veggies.
It has a bit of heat but it's the kind of spice that you notice while you're eating but it quickly fades from your mouth, not that lingering burn that some things have.
After I was done my dinner I kept going back to the pan to pick up another piece. It's so full of flavour, a bit sweet too.
Definitely recommend and will be getting this one again.

Taste the Heat of Korea
I seasoned boneless pork chops for 2 hours and slow cooked them slowly in the oven. The seasoning was hot; not for the weak. I enjoyed the heat. I would love to try this spice on chicken wings and make a sweet sauce for meatballs. The heat was slow at the start and gradually increased, bite after bite. A great addition to a plain meal.
Delicious
I’m so happy that I got to try this product for free, thanks to Family Rated! It has just the right amount of spicy flavour, and it has become a new staple in our home! I used it on plain chicken wings, and it was so easy, and tasted fantastic. My husband loved them too!
I find it just one flavor
The marinated it with chicken drumstick. I gave them a massage with the seasoning. Over an hour later I cooked the drumstick. Dinner time! Had the drumstick. I don’t understand why it’s called Korean BBQ because when I had it all I taste was it’s very spicy and hot. No other flavors. If I wanted my food to be spicy I can used other spices. I see a lot of pepper flakes in the package. I like how it’s meant for multi used because the package allow you to seal it.
