So much flavour for everything!

I used this za'atar spice blend to make one of the Knorr recipes, but I found that it was overwhelmed by some of the other ingredients.
So I started putting it in my scrambled eggs in the morning, and this has been one of the best breakfast additions I've come across. Just the right amount of savoury flavour!

Just found a new best friend in the kitchen

I was provided this complementary sample as part of the Family Rated Sampling and Review program, and I honestly can say, this was a delight to use and review.

I cook a lot of the traditional "land of cedar" recipes as my friends will call it. I am not Lebanese by birth, but I have embraced it's culture and traditions in my culinary skills.

I used this spice in my cooking of Hashweh. Hashweh (which translates to stuffing) is a traditional Lebanese rice dish made with ground beef or lamb, pine nuts and dates, seasoned with an aromatic blend of baking spices. This time rather than having to combine and blend all the spices myself, I used this mix, as is, 1:1 for my recipe, and I was NOT disappointed.

All the traditional notes and flavors were present, and well balanced. Sure it was not exactly the same as my own... but it was all the elements I would expect in my own combination, and it was the closest and most authentic blend I have ever been able to come by. Nice to know that it is now available in a pre-blended format for the culinary artists' convenience. It takes out the guess work of trying to remember to have all the elements represented in your creation.

I definitely will be buying more of this, just to have on hand in a pinch, and I have already told many others about it. Now they know my secret spice blend that goes in my cabbage rolls, not to mention my stuffed grape leaves.

Sure, it will never be as good as my own combination, but it is truly the closest thing to perfection on the market.

Great flavour!

I made the recipe highlighted on the knorr website for Grilled Chicken Lebanese. It was a new flavour profile for me and I loved it! Again, easy to use and very versatile as well. Could use it again and again. Made oven roasted potatoes as a side and the sauce to accompany the chicken, was also amazing with my potatoes. The spice mix smells awesome and I was especially excited when I mixed them in, the smell of the marinade was amazing. On the grill, wow! I wanted to have seconds! Quick and easy. Love the mix.

New Recipes to Try Out

Knorr Taste of Lebanon Za’atar Seasoning Blend was something new for us to try and I really enjoyed it. Not the normal palate for our household but we are into trying new recipes. Works well with chicken and rice dish and I think I would also try it with as a potato dish. The seasoning is very easy to add in and you do not need to use a lot of it for some great flavour.
While I liked this product, I may or may not buy this specific seasoning again just as its not a flavour we cook with as much. I would buy others from the Knorr Seasoning line again and recommend it to family and friends. I received this product to try and review for free as part of the Family Rated Product Review Club.

Amazing taste and aroma

First of all thanks to knorr and family rated club for sending me this product for testing purposes. I have added a little bit of this seasoning in rice and my rice turns very tasty and everybody likes that unique aroma which is coming out from the rice. Really, I was a bit scared because I never use this kinda blend before but after the first use, I think this seasoning is going to have a permanent space in my kitchen.

Very tasty new flavour blend.

I was able to test the new Knorr Za'atar Lebanon seasoning blend on a chicken and rice dish that i made in the Instant Pot, and it added a great flavour that was new to me and my family. I had never tasted Lebanon flavours before and i was pleased that i now have a new seasoning to experiment with. #gotitfree

Thank you for sending this amazing product #gotitfree. My husband loves Arabic food and he was so happy when I made one of the meals listed on the Knorr email they sent me! It tastes like authentic Lebanese food. I love the packaging and how easy it is to find Knorr products in the store. I am a forever customer!!

Tastes great!

This seasoning is delicious! I used it on a beer can chicken, which tasted amazing! I cant wait to try the recipe on the back of the package.
I also like the velcro closure. I haven't seen that before and find the plastic seals other brands use usually dont hold up!

Delicious seasoning blend offers a taste of Lebanon

I had the opportunity to try Knorr's Za'atar seasoning blend for free in exchange for my honest opinion thanks to Family Rated. I don't have much experience with Lebanese cuisine so I was excited to cook with this seasoning blend. I seasoned chicken breast with this blend and ate it with grilled veggies. It was delicious! It really made chicken breast which can be boring and tasteless into an interested and unique meal. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to cook healthy meals at home but like me, is often at a loss for new ideas!
