You can borrow books from the library!!!
I love to read but I hate purchasing books. It end up costing quite a bit over time. The thing about the kobo that sets it apart from other ereaders is that you can actually borrow books from the local community library on it so long as you have a regular library membership. You have access to all of their books. It’s great and I don’t have to worry about spending money.
I read everyday now!
Bought the Kobo Clara HD last black friday and I love it. I can borrow books from the library and read on my commute to work. The size is perfect and fits great in my hands, it is also very light. The screen light is great, it looks like I'm reading a paper book.
It's is totally worth the price!
I love my Kobo touch. I've tried a few of the newer versions but couldn't be convinced it was a better option. I've had my touch for 5 years and it is still going strong. Amazing battery life and love the paper white screen. I would love the backlit option but just am not ready to replace mine so I use a portable light that clips on...problem solved.
The Kobo Touch eReader is easy to use and saves you space. Rather than having all kinds of books lying around you can fit up to a 1000 ebooks in this small device. If you add an SD card you can fit up to 30,000 ebooks. It's really small and portable measuring 114 mm x 165 mm and only 10 mm thick. It only weighs 221g so it's extremely light. I wish I had this Kobo when I was reading Steven King The Dome cause I used to lug that book around in my purse in hardcover and it was so heavy.
The touch screen on this device is easy to use and the Kobo itself is easy to navigate. I also love that there's a built in dictionary in this device so if you don't know what a word means you just click on it, the word will be underlined and it will give you the meaning of the word. There's even a drop down to choose the language of your choose. Mine is automatically set up in English cause that's my preferred language. The print is bold and easy to read and if you need to enlarge the letters you can which is great for those who may have slight vision problems.
Although I love my Kobo cause it's slightly more convenient, (easier to carry around, I no longer have to worry about bending the pages from shoving my book in my purse) I still often times read paper books. I love the weight of the book in my hands and feeling the paper in my fingertips as I turn the page. In fact right now I'm currently reading Interview With A Vampire in paperback. I'm thinking I should probably hurry up and finish reading my paperback and hardcover novels so I can make more room on the bookshelf for my kids books. Plus an eReader is definitely environment friendly.
Don't get me wrong I love a book I love flipping the pages, but sometimes it is nice to carry this as it is lighter than a book and works just s well. I seem to find myself alternating between a book and my ereader.
It used to be that I would spend all my money on paperbacks but since I got my kobo I rarely buy hard copies anymore my kobo goes everywhere with me i'd be bored out of mind and lost without..i prefer the touch screen as opposed to the button because the button wore out no my first kobo and I was left with a pricey object with no way to use it..these are a bit pricey for me but well worth the use.
Got my Touch as a Christmas present, did not really want one, but now cannot see not having it. I just love it and it is so easy to download books to it.
My husband got a Kobo for Christmas and LOVES it. He was always a book guy and very hesitant to make the change but he loves how easy it is to slip his Kobo into his lunch bag to take to work, or to stay up and read at night without keeping me up with the light on. Really easy to use, so easy to load books on and very easy on the eyes to read. My only suggestion would be to research the different models to decide which features are the best for when/where you will be using it.
Kobo eReader Touch - absolutely love it! I was hesitant at first as I always loved having a book in my hand but I fell in love at first touch. Stores many books and the Kobo bookstore is getting better. Absolute must have for the avid reader
it's a bit pricey, afterall it's a serum. after applying, my skin feels so smooth...it actually helps to lighten my sun spots on my face.
I use it on my neck too. overall, I'm satisfy with this product
