Working well so far!

I originally got these intending to use them in a few different places, particularly the light above my stove, but to my surprise I found that the one place they fit is my old IKEA lamp in my living room, which fits three of these. I decided to take out a bulb I already had in there to see what the difference would be with these new ones, and I was very happy with the result! The light they give off is a warm orange glow, and it’s bright for its size and wattage.

The bulbs themselves are small, about 4 inches long, and the base is a very small screw-in that probably won’t fit any sockets other than your small chandelier-types. On its own one of these bulbs is not particularly bright, but when you have three or more together they do a great job lighting the room. The orange light in particular is soft on the eyes, and is great for night time when you’re trying to relax and don’t want blinding white light waking you up.

The box came with six bulbs, padded well to ensure they don’t break in transit. I was actually really impressed with the padding, I recently bought some name brand bulbs that were not padded this well at all. These are put in cut-out foam, so they are protected all around. All the bulbs arrived in good condition and all worked well, so I’m very happy with them! Plus the manufacturer offers a 2-year warranty, which is a good sign that they expect them to last.
