We recently started canoeing, and I really enjoy photography…but do not wish for my iPhone to end up in the water or get dunked accidentally.

I stumbled across these waterproof pouches, and decided to try out the Kosse Brand.

I did the paper towel test before using these pouches, and not one drop of water got in once the pouches were sealed. To seal the pouch, you just need to get the hard plastic lips into the notch holes, and the pouch is sealed! Just make sure to get as much air out as possible if you want to take photographs (I had to reseal mine initially as the first few photographs were blurry and fuzzy from the plastic).

It fits both my iPhone 5S and Husbands Samsung Galaxy 5 with wiggle room inside.

The lanyard is quality, but not adjustable. For me (I am 5 feet 2 inches), it sits at my thighs. For Husband (at 6 feet 2 inches), it sits at his belly button. So it is the perfect length for phone usability and for taking photographs, but takes away from being able to bring the phone upwards closer to the neck to prevent long term neck and shoulder pain (I have a desk job and less stress on my neck is important).

The screen still senses my fingers through the plastic with no problems, so the phone works just as it normally would.

I just love the sense of protection and safety it provides me, especially since I have lost a phone in the past due to it getting water logged.

These would be great for the outdoors, sightseeing (Niagara Falls, Vancouver, etc.), Vacations (the beach!), and for anywhere that you are paranoid about water or other damages occurring if your valuable phone is not protected.
