Strange aftertaste

I was excited to try this hazelnut spread. I have had competitor spreads in the past and was excited to try one made without palm oil. I don’t know if it’s because it came in a little plastic package but it had a very strange plasticy aftertaste. The flavour was good when you bit into it but then once the after taste hit it made finishing my toast not very enjoyable. Without The aftertaste, the product is delicious and I would’ve definitely bought it. But now it I am sceptical because I don’t want to purchase a full product and have it not eaten because of the aftertaste. My daughter tried it as well and sadly had the same complaint. To be fair, I never gave any indication of how I felt before she complained of the aftertaste.

It was ok,had an odd taste

I was expecting something better from Kraft.I couldn't quite place what it was but I got a weird taste from it.The texture is creamy but there was something there that I did not like.Not something I would buy.

Expected more

A big fan of hazelnut chocolate spread. However, compared to other brands, this one lacked in the flavour department. It was more of a bland chocolate taste. But if you're looking for a spread that's not as sweet as other spreads, this one may be for you.

Good not great

It tastes the same as the regular Nutella, good, not great. Not sure if I would buy it unless it was on a really good sale. The sample size was also really small so…that could also be why I didn’t think it tasted different.

Wouldn't replace Nutella

I was excited to try this new Hazelnut spread, so when I saw ChickAdvisor was sending out free samples, I applied and was chosen.

First looking at the consistency, it looks very smooth. Infact it is very smooth. It's not as sweet as Nutella. I like that there are options for a crunchy version and a less sugar option.

That's about as exciting as it gets. The hazelnut spread is decent, but it doesn't match the same quality and distinct taste of nutella. This has more of an oily taste.

If I couldn't find nutella, or this was on sale for a good price, this would be an okay alternative, but it doesn't have an as strong hazelnut taste as it's competition.

Tasty!

Our family of four loved the taste of Kraft Hazelnut Spread. We all thought the hazelnut flavour came through beautifully and the consistency was nice. It spread easily and did not separate even though the sample was warm from our mailbox when we tried it. A few things we didn't like are the fact that it uses sunflower oil, which can be high in omega-6 and may contribute to inflammation and that it contains artificial flavour.

Yummy

I enjoyed the sample. It’s good but it’s not better than “it’s competition “. You can taste the ingredients and it’s not as oily. The price point is reflective of the Kraft brand. If I had to choose between this product vs its competition it would be a tough decision.

Nutella wannabe

Nothing special. I still prefer the real thing. There is only one and it's the original for me and my kids forever. Good imitation. For sure people will buy it because looks like Nutella

Okay if you've never had Nutella

It's ok, and in a pinch I may pick up if my usual hazelnut spread was not available. Maybe kids would like it better, but I found it lacked a richness of chocolate flavour.
