Great pasta salad from a box!

I really like this simple pasta salad. It's the perfect light meal to make on a hot summer day when you don't feel like cooking or if you have to bring a side dish to a picnic or a pool party.
The seasoning is just right, not too strong and not too weak and it makes for a perfect "blank" canvas if you want to add to it. I usually cut up fresh veggies and add a little cheese to it or do apple and cheddar.
Always keep a box in your pantry, it does come in handy!

Kraft Pasta Salad Macaroni is a unique product. The secret ingredient is the spice packet in the box. The flavour is very distinct. There was a shortage of this product earlier this year, but happily it seems to have made it back on most grocery shelves. The price has gone up, but it's so good I can accept the higher cost.
