The first time I bought this liquid lipstick I of course got the screwed up formula which ended up being a dark unflattering brown colour. It was a disappointment and a waste of money as it still sits on my make up table. A couple months back I went ahead and bought the mini duo of Lolita and Lolita 2. This formula was 10x better and has the best stain power that lasts throughout the day. It doesn't crumble like a lot of liquid lipsticks and I might have to touch up 1-2 times a day after eating and drinking. Overall, I would definitely recommend Kat Von D's liquid lipsticks to anyone... if they're not always sold out at Sephora. :(

Love the color and formula of this lipstick, however I find after eating or wearing for an hour or so the inner part of the lipstick starts to wear off.

The first section I go to when entering Sephora is always Kat Von D. This lipstick in Lolita and Berlin are shades that consistently stay in my purse and desk. It dries to a nice matte finish and can easily be shined up with a bit of gloss or balm.

this is amazing it holds on lips forever unless I remove it with waterproof remover or I eat something oily, color is amazing, I really love this colour, I think it really suits me.

The colour is a gorgeous mauve/brown. The perfect Autumn shade.
It is opaque, matte but not drying. Comfortable and weightless on the lips. It will not transfer and it stains the lips for that extra long staying power.

I will be looking into more shades to add to my collection!

This is my first hardcore liquid lipstick; as in the colour is full and opaque, and once you put it on it's going to stay put for quite a while. I absolutely love it, as with every other KVD product I've tried lately (just some lip products and Monarch eye shadow palette).
I got this in Double Dare. It's one of the nude / neutral shades, and is such a beautiful colour, especially for fall and winter.
This lipstick has no scent (unlike the Studded Kiss bullets) and it goes on perfectly smooth. It can be a tiny bit patchy on the first swipe, but that's only when I try to apply this in a very thin layer. Otherwise, it is rich and opaque. The formula is great, and it really does last for hours. I only have it start to wear off when I eat something (sipping my coffee throughout the day doesn't affect it). I haven't tested to see how long it would last on it's own without interference, but I'm sure it would be pretty remarkable in it's staying power!
It's easy to apply this straight from the tube - it has a doe-foot applicator which works great. Sometimes I line my lips with the edge of the applicator, and then fill in the rest of my lips. However sometimes I like to apply this with a finer tipped lip brush, so I can get perfect edges. This also makes the colour appear a tiny bit lighter on my lips, than if applied with the doe-foot.
The shade Double Dare really reminds me of the Studded Kiss bullet version of the shade Lolita-they are both rosey-brown types of shades, and not too dark. I own and love Studded Kiss Lolita, but have heard the liquid lipstick version of it is more of a brown shade so I've been avoiding it.
I really love this product - it's got serious staying power, beautiful, rich shades and it doesn't actually dry my lips out much. I'm sure it would affect them more if I wore this all day, every day, but using it once in a while doesn't affect my lips any more than using other lipsticks/glosses/etc would.
I wish I had the courage to wear more of the colours in this product range, but for now I am very happy with Double Dare and would recommend it to anyone!

If you see this liquid lipstick available online or in stores, do not hesitate and buy! This is the perfect fall medium burgundy shade that is super matte and lasts for hours. I really enjoy this shade and it compliment every skin tone and makeup look. I recommend exfoliating your lips first then applying because since this is a matte liquid lipstick it can tend to be on the dryer side making any flakes on your lips more noticeable.

I bought this at Winners for only $10. So much cheaper than at Sephora. I love these! The colours are true to how they appear in the tube. THey apply easy. The colour lasts a long long time. Just make sure your lips are moisturized, as these can be a bit drying, especially for the winter.

Kat Von D's liquid lipsticks are fantastic! The shade bachelorette is great for fair girls like myself. It applies very nicely to the lips, doesn't flake, and it actually does last through eating and drinking something. It's amazing!
