good product, high price
This is an amazing setting powder, makeup lasts all day without getting cakey. I like using this more than the Laurier Mercier powder. However, it's very expensive, and some drugstore powders are too similar to justify the price.
love the product, hate the price
Got this as part of my birthday gift from Sephora and loved it.
Huh déjà vu of past birthday when a friend thoughtfully bought me an amazing lip pencil from Sephora. I've been cursing her ever since haha.
I personally loved how white it was as it helped fix a foundation I got that was just a shade or 2 to dark (as well as wrong undertone).
Prior to this I had never tried a setting powder before just the sprays which I do not like at all.
Will probably pick up when I run out haha tho for now seems to be lasting me a long time
Nice
Part of my Sephora free gift! I don’t use a lot of foundation during the Summer so I tried this product with concealer! My forever dark circles were in full mode last weekend so I decided to do a little cover up! It sets up nicely, doesn’t dry out my skin and looks natural. (obviously, you do have to blend it quickly since it’s white but that’s not a problem per say). Also didn’t crease! The packaging is very nice and the size is perfect for my needs! I wouldn’t want a bigger one.
Good
This is the second setting powder I have ever tried and it worked very well for me. It’s very lightweight and keeps my makeup in place. I’m not sure if I will repurchase, considering all the drama surrounding this brand. Although this product does work for me, it is mediocre and I will try another setting powder from a different brand
Just bought this again!
I've tried a few setting powders, but found that some were glittery and others created flashback. I tried the Kat Von D and found it to be natural looking and easy to use, no drawbacks. I wound up buying a travel size (to save money, I couldn't afford the better deal of the .67oz for $38 CA but I could afforf the .19oz for $20 CA).
The travel size comes with a small puff, which I found great for applying to the undereye area pre-shadow application. Applying excess to that area helps protect against fallout from my shadow application, and since I use loose shadows quite often, its a good idea (and saves me spending money on "shadow shields" which are a waste). When I'm done, I brush away the excess, and apply shadow to my lower lashline.
I also dust this over my forehead, nose and chin with a fluffy brush to help keep those areas matte. It lasts about 6 hours on my forehead, and I can gently dust a bit more around my hairline to cut down on shine.
It lasts a long time, I've maybe used half the travel size in 6 months (I use it once a week or so). So I just recently bought the full size on sale, because I love it and figured it'd be better to get the full size for the reasons I mention earlier (better deal). However the full size does not come with a puff, apparently.
Great for oily skin
As a combo skin type, this powder was good for warm weather. During the winter months, it makes my skin look textured instead of smooth.
However, it is nice under the eyes to prevent concealer creasing.
