cute
It's light and chocolately feel. A bit sweet and warm. Although it didn't wow me away in the sense that it feels like seeing the eiffel tower for the first time, it evokes the feeling when you think of your mother's cooking. It's warm and comforting. It's a different feeling all together.
Sinfully wonderful
I never use perfume, I am one of those people who usually get a headache from fragrances. However, sinner seems to send me up the walls with delight rather than a pounding head.
I described it at first whiff as "what Neil Patrick Harris' leather furniture must smell like" and I hope that it taken in the same manner it was meant.
I think this perfume is perfect for any occasion. But that's me. It's probably best for date nights and late night graveyard outings.
Nice Nightime Fragrance
I gt this in a mini in a kit and out of the 2 this one was my least favorite but I do still like it and intend to use the rest of the mini. I generally like fruitier sweet scents and this is completely opposite so I am surprised I like it. Not sure if I will purchase the full size...on the fence.
Kat Von D Sinner Eau De Parfum
If you are looking for a sultry perfume for your next date night I would suggest the Kat Von D Sinner Eau de Parfum. I also like to wear this perfume in the fall/winter months as it has a warm, dark, spicy scent to it with notes of patchouli, wood and cinnamon.
It also doesn't hurt that it comes in a beautiful bottle. I bought the mini size for myself as I have a lot of perfumes and it nice that even the mini size comes in a spray bottle which is perfect for travel or to throw in your purse.
Smells great!
I bought the travel size sinner perfume and lipstick set from Sephora and I was skeptical about the perfume at first because usually perfume gives me headaches and I'm picky but I actually really like the smell!
If you are super into perfume and want to give it a try I do reccomend it.
You dont need a lot at all just one spritz and you're good to go, the staying power is great as well.
Sinner over Saint
I received a sample with my Sephora order a few months ago along with Saint. I was immediately in love with this scent. It has a spicy and manly smell that is so yummy but not to much that it doesn’t feel feminine. I went ahead and purchased the 30ml. It doesn’t hurt that my boyfriend loves the smell too! Beautiful bottle as well. I found that over the course of the day it mellows out into a very soft sexy scent of yummy ness.
Bold!
Before the re launch of this fragrance I always preferred Saint over Sinner and that seems to be the consensus but I prefer the dry down of Sinner. The top notes are clary sage and Mirabelle, heart notes are jasmine, almond blossom and lily-of-the-valley and the base notes are vanilla, cedar, peach and musk. This is very simplistic, universal floral fragrance sure to appease many. I don’t typically wear floral fragrances because they all smell the same to me, I like fragrance that isn’t deriguer, I don’t want to smell like everyone else. This EDP sells for $88 CAD but to me it smells like a cheap celebrity fragrance in luxe packaging, but this is a business model that works for a lot of fragrance houses – sell something that feels luxe but make the juice cheap. I would say the sillage is mild to moderate but for an EDP it doesn’t last long on the skin. Kat Von D played it safe with Saint I and again with the re-launch, it would have been nice if she changed things up a bit, like an ode to the former fragrance but made it more relevant. If you are looking for a powdery floral and don’t’ want to break the bank then this is for you. This was sent to me for review.
Thou Shalt Not...
This actually caught me off guard. I fully expected it to smell amazing because Kat's got great style and taste but wow, what was she thinking with Sinner?? I received trial sizes of both Sinner and Saint in my stocking and being on the naughty list as I usually am, of course I tried Sinner first. To me, it smells really musky and strong, almost to the point of being masculine... it was way too overpowering for me, I prefer sweet and fruity scents as opposed to whatever this was.. I guess the good girls win this round!
Relaxing smell and long lasting
I am in love with this scent! It's so different for me, I'm typically a fruity and sweet smelling perfume girl, but this perfume has more of a spicy scent, you can really pick up the cinnamon and even the orange blossom. All the scents come together to create such a pleasing aroma. Even my husband loves it, he says that he finds the scent relaxing.
I can put it on in the morning, and even at the end of the night I can still smell it.
Warm with a hint of sweetness
After trying the saint and sinner perfume, I got to say I love the sinner one a little more than the saint scent. The warm and spicy tone in the sinner is great for night out with the girls or date night, when you want a deeper and seductive tone. You can really pick up the high notes of patchouli, wood and cinnamon. It was warm, but has a hint of sweetness.
