I first came across this product on my trip to Asia. I tried the Shea Butter Hand Cream at the Duty Free and instantly fell in love with how rich the cream was and how amazing it made my hands look! The price point is a little high but this product gets the job done. It is worth every single penny! Btw - try their rose hand cream!!
I received this lotion as part of a free promotion that they ran on their facebook page. I was really disappointed at the quality considering the price point. This cream is very expensive when compared to my usual brand. I found the cream to be VERY thick and greasy. Although it did moisturize very well it's just not convenient to have in your purse because it takes a very long time to absorb into my hands. I would not recommend this product for that reason alone.
l`occitane hand cream in shea butter is my new fave hand cream.amazing results although a bit pricy but little application does wonders for your skin.available in 3 scents i always keep the small size in my purse and keep the bigger in my kitchen as its really effective and doesnt let ur hands feel greasy or weird after application
One word: WOW. I discovered this product last year, and now I can't live without it. It smells so nice and simple, and moisturizes your hands like nothing you have ever experienced! I would highly recommend this to anyone with dry hands.
This hand cream is very moisturizing, it does leave a slight bit of residue behind but considering how nice it makes my hands feel it's quite worth it. The downsides are the packaging and the price, this is too expensive for a hand cream. Though this hand cream is very good I see hand creams as something you have to reapply often and there are plenty of creams that are as moisturizing as this at a much lower price point.
The packaging could also use some work, when it starts running low and you get some kinks in the metal cream can start to leak out these cracks which can make a huge mess. Also the tiny cap isn't great for on the go use as I find it fiddly sometimes when I have to hold it, squeeze some cream out, then put the cap back on.
I would say give this a try, it is a very good product and a nice splurge item to pamper yourself with but for me I can't see myself repurchasing it just because the price is too much for me.
I bought this hand cream for 30$. It has a rich and thick texture, and contains 20% shea butter. The absorption is not optimal (it leaves a oily residue) but it hydrates and protects the hands all day, even after washing them. It is a truly great product, but the scent is displeasing (it smells like baby powder). I would definitely recommend it, but next time, I will try other fragrances of the same brand.
I love this cream. I would highly recommend this cream. My hands feel great after each use.
When I heard that this product was said to be one of the best, so when I was given a chance to receive a free full sized one I jumped at the chance. Unfortunately I was utterly disappointed in this product, when I put it on my hands it didn't penetrate and seep into my skin, it literally felt like I had oil all over my hands, and did nothing to make them smoother or moisturized over time, or even that day. As well as I really couldn't stand the smell. I was definitely not a fan.
Absorbs very quickly and does not leave your hands feeling greasy. Only down side would be that the scented versions are a little strong so I would recommend the non-scented version if you are not too big on scented hand lotions.
This is not the best hand cream I've ever tried, but it is by far not the worst. It leaves your hands feeling smooth and soft for a really long time. The scent is not my favorite.
