Expensive
I got a sample from La Mer. I won't be buying the full size. It's a thick moisturizer that hydrates dry skin, that's it. There's so many products out there that do exactly that and are much more affordable.
Too expensive
I tried this moisturiser many times as travel sizes but never really splurge to buy the full size.
Is a nice thick cream and apart from hydrating my skin and leaving it with a nice glow that’s pretty much it.
The main ingredients such as see algae can be found in much more cheaper creams who absolutely do the same job.
You’re mainly paying for the brand name.
I wouldn't recommend this for the price is too high up.
Apparently this cream is supposed to be the best from all the luxury creams out there. Many women have said that it DOES work miracles on their face; however in my case, I found it pretty disappointing.
To my surprise, I received a small sample pot of this cream at Holt's counter. I have dry skin and after using this product twice, morning and night for 2 weeks, my face still felt dry during mid-day.
At first I used a small amount-just so that it would last me longer, rubbing cream between your palms to emulsify the product and patted/rubbed into face--as demonstrated to me by the saleswoman. My face still felt dry and tight afterwards. After a disappointing first week, I scooped out a good chunk during the 2nd wk. just so I can experience the full effect--had I actually purchased the mega expensive, full-sized cream.
End result was that the cream did not meet my expectations. I was hoping this cream would be the miracle cream, but sadly, it isn't. For me that is.--Actually, it's a good thing that it isn't, considering that I wasn't even prepared to blow so much cash on this cream to begin with.
