The cream irritated my skin

I like the face wash in this kit but the acne cream caused my skin to become really itchy and I had to stop using it. I’ve since bought the face wash on its own. A little goes a long way but it is expensive and I wouldn’t say it’s had a big impact on my spots.

I would buy the Effaclar again, it worked very well!

I only got the Free Sample Kit, it was working excellent after 3 days. It even worked better then using ProActive for 3 years! It worked so good, my daughter took the rest from me, hid it, and used it all.

i actually think its a very good kit, i have used it for a month and my acne is invisible now :) its totally worth the price though. i really recommend this to people struggling with acne

Great product - worked wonders on my acne

I loved this product. Didn't leave my skin dry and cleared up my acne within a couple of weeks. Great price for the name and quantity. I definitely recommend this to others with acne prone skin.

I feel that I would have given this product 5 stars, had my son (the one who really should be using this product) been diligent at using this product, so I didn't want to hijack stars by taking them away for not seeing the results that I felt I wanted to see....

This product got rave reviews from the saleslady and the La Roche-Posay sales gal who gave me a lot of other product samples to try when I purchased this product. My older son (16) used/uses this, but really results can be monitored only after a consistent usage, and he doesn't use this product in consistent enough manner for me to give 5 stars, but he didn't mind the fragrance at all which is one reason that cleansers have turned him off. On the other hand, I have a 12 year old son who has started with his oil production and thus pimples quite early; he uses this product and it seems to be working for him. My youngest son enjoys using it and it doesn't leave any residue or have a harsh smell nor leave any stinging skin after usage which is a plus...ideally regular twice daily usage would be ideal, but even with his evening ritual, if he doesn't cover his head like a hibernating bear then the product can do its trick and in the morning, his red pimples have definitely calmed down! A good product.

Acne gone!

i Bought this kit : oily skin & moderate acne. Started gradually with just the wash. Added treatment 1x daily a week later, and the clarifying solution 1x daily the next week. Skin amazingly clear after 4 weeks, with no dryness or irritation. Perfect! Has been using now for about 3 months and my skin looks lovely. Acne gone!
