Amazing
This product is a good on the pricey side. That's why I recommend it to anybody especially if you're going to be printing your skin from the harmful UV rays outside. Thank you for letting me review this product I will have more reviews in store for you thank you very much
Good quality moisturizer
This is good quality moisturizer, hydrates skin very well without weighting it down. Smells great and is nice creamy and smooth consistency.I am quite happy with it.
great product
i love this product as it is very gentle on my skin. Must Try. i have a combination skin and it works very well on my skin. i bought it on sale at shoppers drug mart.
I would definately buy this product again.
I love this product I will tell you why, I bought another popular product at my local drug store and took it home hoping it would do what the commercials said it would do well a couple of days later I noticed that this cream was burning my face like a sensation that I never felt before from a cosmetic and of course the product label said that this burning sensation was normal so I kept using it and a couple of days later my skin was raw and sore so I had gotten a sample of La roch posay moisturizer and in a couple of days my skin was healed and it actually looks smoother and the tone is more even now it is a wonderful product.
Undetectable!
People tell me that I have really tan skin for a person like me a Chinese and a solution for this was this sunscreen! After a year of using it, my skin became a much lighter tone and it was very great to use. I really liked using it
It’s okay
Before you buy, just know this: All the raves for Anthelios (which started in the mid-to-late 90's) originally were for the *European* version, which contains Mexoryl, a patented UVA blocker with proven track record in EU and Canada. Mexoryl is highly stable; it does not degrade after hours of sun exposure, rendering the "reapplication" part of sunscreen nearly moot. L'Oreal was the one to patent and develop Mexoryl, which is why it's only found in L'oreal brands outside of the US. In the late 90s and early 2000's everyone was buying Anthelios from European or Canadian sites. Coasting on this word-of-mouth success, the US version was soon launched--- but without the star ingredient which is so effective. Why?
The FDA did not approve Mexoryl as a sunscreen; Talk to anyone in cosmetic industry regulation and it's well-known that the USA is 10 years behind Europe and Asia on approving sunscreens. The list of US-approved sunscreen ingredients is very short and hasn't changed in decades; whereas in Europe and Asia the list is longer--- they get to use newer ingredients that are lighter, thinner, and more absorbent -- Another reason why EU/Asia sunscreens feel like invisible silk---and US ones tend to feel greasy/heavy.
This US version does NOT contain Mexoryl, instead it contains Avobenzone --also highly stable for many hours under the sun -- but this formula also contains Oxybenzone, a controversial ingredient (look it up). I'm not against chemical sunscreens, but I personally avoid Oxybenzone as much as I can. However, one great benefit is the milky-light texture, absorbent finish that feels weightless on skin. This is one reason why it's so popular.
If you don't care about chemical UV filters and just want an absorbent formula that works great on the face, this is a good option. But know that the Euro version is far superior, and if travelling outside the US, stock up --it's very affordable.
Wonderful everyday sunscreen. I was searching for an everyday spf that was no hassle, not too greasy/shiney, no white cast BUT with the right sunscreen ingredients and I finally found it. This contains the classic LRP spf combo of mexoryl sx/ xl, stabilized avobenzone with octocrylene and tinosorb S so it provides wonderful anti-aging protection from UVA rays. It leaves no white cast and while it is moisturizing it is not greasy and does settle down after application. In fact, its a great primer. I have used around 3 bottles of this and as soon as I run out I order a new bottle, that's how I know I love it. I like to try and use different sunscreens but this is a HG that I will always have a bottle of.
