Amazing makeup base!!!

This is my favourite tinted sunscreen that acts like a tinted moisturizer and awesome base for foundation if you want. I love the glow I get a few minutes after applying. The other great thing is the mineral sunscreen which lasts a lot longer than chemical sunscreens!

My first regular sunscreen

I have sensitive, eczema, and acne-prone skin, and I can say this is the only product that has ever worked for me. My other sunscreens, no matter how lightweight, have always irritated my skin and left undesirable white cast but not this one. I'm so happy to finally find a sunscreen for my face!

Tinted Mineral Sunscreen with SPF 50

I have sensitive skin and for many years, I've had reactions when going into the sun with sunscreen. It was finally determined my reaction is to "chemical" suncreen reacting with UV rays. Parts of my body would turn red as a lobster and become very itchy for days. Without sunscreen in the sun, I'm fine and no reaction. Since the sun's rays has become very damaging, no sunscreen is no longer safe outdoors. For my face, I decided to try a mineral sunscreen and discovered La Roche-Posay Anthelios Mineral sunscreen with SPF 50 for my face. It goes on smoothly and does not have a sticky feeling. The tint is an added bonus which does not leave behind a white film like most sunscreens. I have not had any allergic reaction with this product. The sunscreen is on the pricey end but I love it and it works for me. I use it religiously each day all year long.

Great product!!

I really like this product; there's no mineral oil or paraffin in it. The high protection level is very effective for any kind of skin and ethnicity. I love the fact that is tinted, it can be used as a light coverage foundation on very sunny days, but the finish looks a little bit oily. What I've done when using this product is brush a bit of powder on top to stop the shine. It is slightly pricey, but it's worth the quality!

Didn't work on my skin

Sadly, another sunscreen that doesn't work for me. I started by wearing it every few days off and on, because I've had bad experiences with sunscreens causing reactions. It seemed okay, then I wore it daily for a week and developed a really bad rash on one side of my face. I got the same rash when I was wearing the Tarte bb primer, which used to be fine and causes a rash. I don't know if it was this for sure, but it's the only thing that changed in my routine, and hasn't happened again since I returned it. Also it's pricy, and watery and on my oily skin I couldn't wear it alone, needed to wear under oil control fdtn or with powder.

Effective year-round sunscreen

I bought this a couple of years ago when I was looking for a mineral-based face sunscreen. I have very sensitive skin (eczema, acne, unevenness) and was looking for something that wouldn't be irritating or cause me to break out. This particular product was recommended to me by a friend. It works well. It provides very sheer coverage (almost translucent), and absorbs quickly. I would prefer if it wasn't tinted, given that I also wear DermaBlend foundation. However, it feels like enough underneath my makeup that it doesn't feel cake-y after applying my full face of makeup. Only downside? Pretty freaking expensive for a facial sunscreen.

I love this stuff!

Never had a tinted sunscreen before. I purchased this as a recommendation from the beauty counter and WOW! It's awesome! Not only does it not feel oily or clog my pores, it actually feels silky, absorbs completely and provides a light gorgeous coverage to my blemishes and even skin tone. It's a very natural glow type look without foundation. I am very impressed! Wish I found it sooner. 4 stars for value because it is very pricey for the amount you get.

Expensive, but worth it!

This is an amazing sunscreen. I like that it is mineral but does not give me a white cast. My skin isn't pale so mineral sunscreens usually end up making me look ghostly but not this one. Would buy again!

MUST HAVE!!

This is my #1 most used skin care product. I switch up my serums and moisturizers, but I never go a day without putting on my tinted sunscreen from LRP. I wear this 365 days a year, whether or not I’m wearing makeup. It is lightweight, evens your skin out nicely, and has a nice demi matte finish. I cannot recommend this product enough. I have literally got all my friends on it.

Great sunscreen for face

This is a great light-weight mineral tinted sunscreen with high SPF. I have combination skin that can get quite oily in the summer and this adds a bit of greasiness. I don't wear makeup but if I did, I don't think it would sit well with this sunscreen. It is far better than others however and the tint gives a nice glow and makes blemishes less noticeable.
