Good basic option

I do enjoy this moisturizer as a basic, no frills daytime lotion under makeup. There is nothing particularly special about it. I do find it is slightly mattifying. The reason I have repurchased this several times is it sits well under makeup and pairs nicely with a couple drops of jojoba oil. Price is reasonable. Highly spreadable so a little does go a long way. All in all, a good basic option for oily skin.

As someone with oily-combination blemish-prone skin, finding a moisturizer that doesn't just sit on top of my skin and make it look even more oily, is a nightmare. I've tried many of the common drugstore brands (Clean&Clear;, Neutrogena, CeraVe, Marcelle, Clinique) and some of them do moisturize a little, but all of them left a sheen on my face. Not this one. If I go all day without anything else at all on my face, it takes several hours before it starts to look shiny at all. However, I usually use a translucent powder or light powder foundation, which is enough to leave my skin mattified all day. My only complaint is the price for the amount of product in the tube - it only lasts a month with daily use, and less if you use it morning and night, so I wish that the tube was larger or that it was less expensive.

I have very oily skin and am always looking for a moisturizer with matte results. This one did just that - no added shine after applying. I was pleasantly surprised! I like to use it in the summertime when my skin can be extra oily.
