La-Roche Posay Toleriane Sensitive Hydrating
- Favourite part: it was truly scentless. I can use it at night without feeling like my nose is clogged up with a strong scent
- Didn't irritate my skin at all. Calmed down the redness
- My skin doesn't feel as coated with moisture the next morning so it's not long-lasting for the winter weather, it's better during the spring onwards
- Pretty small amount (40mL) for ~$30 is a little pricey even though a little goes a long way
- I would imagine using this before applying makeup during the daytime since it's a lightweight product that absorbs really quickly and feels high quality in moisture
Definitely will use the rest of the tube up, and will recommend to my peers/family who have eczema/sensitive skin/want a summer time moisturizer

A good *summer* moisturizer
I received this as part of Chick Advisor's Product Review Club, and it does have a lot of great aspects. I like that it's completely scent-free, and is still pretty moisturizing without being too heavy.
As someone with combination skin, I have both oily patches AND dry patches at this time of year (fun!), so this moisturizer does a fair job of satisfying my finicky face. You also don't have to use too much at a time, so even with the $25 price tag, it should last a while.
That said, I would probably use this as a spring/summer moisturizer as opposed to a winter one, or perhaps have this be my day moisturizer with a heavier one for at night. It felt good on my skin, but wasn't moisturizing enough to overcome the effects of my 20-minute daily walk through the blustery streets of T.O. to get to work.
Overall, I'd still recommend it if you have sensitive skin -- you just might need a little something extra in the colder months if your skin is anything like mine. :)
soft and silky skin
My skin can be sensitive especially in the winter. It gets dry and dull looking. I always look for a light moisturizer at this time of year. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Sensitive was great on my skin. I love that it is fragrance free. I hate products that have an overwhelming smell to them once I put it on my face. It went on smooth and silky on my face. It made my face soft and it looked more radiant. I think it's a bit pricey for the size but it is worth it
Very hydrating
I've been using the La Roche-Posay Toleraine Sensitive for the past few days now. I love how lightweight it feels on the skin even though it is hydrating. I think I will include this moisturizer as part of my daily routine now as it makes my skin feel more moisturized than my regular everyday cream. It is 100% fragrance free which I love! I would totally recommend this to a famiy/friend who is looking for something to suit their sensitive skin yet provide hydration. #TryToleriane

Baby soft skin
I received this product from chickadvisor to try out. It's a wonderful moisturizer super light weight not greasy absorbs fast and leaves my skin so soft after just one use I'm definitely going to have to purchase this again :)
Doesn't offer enough above and beyond cheaper alternatives
Scent:
This was what impressed me the most about this product; it truly is scent-free, almost unbelievably so. Most "unscented" products either still have a faint perfume, or smell kind of chemically. This was truly undetectable
Moisturizing:
This product did a slightly worse job than my regular drug-store sensitive skin moisturizer in terms of ... moisturizing. My skin dried out and started flaking in some zones, and in other areas started to mildly break out.
"Soothing":
Normally when I apply my moisturizer, it gets a little extra-red for a few minutes, then settles back out to normal pretty quickly. This product didn't have this brief angry-skin period, but it also did nothing to improve or reduce my normal level of redness.
I also found that a short time after wearing this moisturizer, my eyes begin to sting as if a small amount managed to get into my eyes somehow? It's not something that happens with my usual routine, and is a little concerning
Under makeup:
I found that my makeup slipped a little more than normal over this moisturizer
Overall, this is a very good moisturizer, but it didn't do anything for me that would justify the very high cost compared to a drug-store sensitive skin moisturizer. I would only recommend it if you are incredibly sensitive to scents, since it nailed the unscented game.
Very gentle, soothing moisturizer for sensitive skin!
I love this moisturizer! I have very sensitive skin and this product soothes my skin and reduces my redness. Other products for sensitive skin often cause me issues, but this one is a perfect match. I also like that it has minimal scent and is very gentle. I will definitely buy this again in the future and will recommend it to family members.
Merci La Roche-Posay.
So simple
I have used Toleriane sensitive by La Roche-Posay for the past 5 days and I have to say, I really love this product. There are so many things to like. It is completely scent free. It has a beautiful texture that is not too thick, and not too liquidy, but absorbs quickly with no greasy feel. Best of all, it actually hydrates my skin, and I feel like my skin is actually healthier from using it daily.
I typically have dry skin that tends to look flaky when I apply makeup. I have always struggled to find a moisturizer that eliminates the flakiness without causing irritation. This product does exactly what I need it to do!
The only drawback in my opinion, is the price. $31 CAD is expensive for 40 ml of product. The amount I used per day, the tube would end up lasting me 2 weeks at the most. That would mean around $65 a month to use this product daily. Definitely a drawback for me. The packaging is also pretty basic considering the price point.
I would certainly recommend this product to anyone, not just sensitive skin sufferers. It is truly a wonderful product that works very well, and I am so glad Chickadvisor provided me with the opportunity to try it for free.
My skin soaked it up!
La Roche Posay is always the brand to trust for anyone who has sensitive skin. This time, those who are not so sensitive but dry can try this out!
The packaging lacked detail - nowhere on the box or the tube does it say that it is a moisturizer. It just said to apply to face day and night.... slightly confusing! But nonetheless, I use this immediately after I tone and put serum on my face. My skin loves it. I definitely see a difference with my skin - especially during the spring when my eczema flares up significantly and painfully.
There is no scent to this moisturizer at all and a little does go a long way!
